Challenges - Introduction | Challenges Splinter Cell Conviction Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
This chapter offers hints on finishing all available challenges. I would recommend that you start completing them as soon as possible, because you'll then be allowed to spend all the points you've earned on new weapons or on valuable upgrades. As for the upgrades themselves, it would be a good idea to fully upgrade one of your pistols and once this is done you should take special interest in explosives so that they'll be more effective in combat.
You should know that all the points you've earned are being automatically saved so that you won't have to go to the nearest checkpoint to finalize the process. This naturally opens a lot of interesting possibilities. It's always a good idea to find an area where completing certain challenges is simple (for example - by landing on an opponent or taking out a group with a grenade). Once you've found such an area you should consider staying there and retrying several times (by reloading the last checkpoint) to complete challenges easily.
Challenges can be finished not only in the singleplayer campaign but also in all other modes of the game, including cooperation, Deniable Ops and multiplayer. Furthermore, several challenges can only be obtained by playing with another person.
