Walkthrough: Start off by proceeding to the left lane of the freeway. Keep heading forward until you've found a large hole in the ground #1. Approach a nearby wreck and try eliminating two enemy soldiers from here #2. Naturally you should be using a scope (don't worry about not being able to use silenced weapon, because you won't be allowed to act stealthy in this mission).

Continue moving forward until you've encountered new soldiers. Kill one of them from a larger distance #1 and then retreat to the area where you've killed the last group. Get ready to defend yourself against incoming enemy forces #2. You'll have to be careful, because enemies will be using both lanes of the freeway and some of them will want to surprise you.

Make sure that you've eliminated all hostile units before you decide to leave cover. You'll encounter a new group when you're about 140 metres away from your current destination #1. Proceed to the right lane of the freeway and start moving towards a white wreck. If you time your actions correctly you'll be allowed to surprise a single enemy soldier here #2.

There's a group of enemies nearby and you can get closer to them safely by hiding behind a blue pick-up truck #1 and then behind a red sedan. Wait for one of the patrolling soldiers to move closer to the rest of the group and use one of your grenades to deal with all of them at the same time #2.

You may start moving towards the next area which is going to be a single lane with a lot of new cars and a larger truck seen in the distance #1. It shouldn't take long until you reach your destination and you'll soon notice that there new enemies in the vicinity. Proceed towards a trucks seen to your left #2. Take cover behind it and move to the right.

You must now decide how you want to make your way through the gas station area:

OPTION A - attacking enemy units directly

OPTION B - avoiding enemy units at first, surprising them and running towards the exit

Option A: This is a better choice in my opinion, because you'll be allowed to attack enemy units without taking any major risks. Several hostile units should be standing next to a pick-up truck and you should throw a grenade there #1 once they're joined by an additional opponent. You can also blow up a tanker seen to your right #2, killing yet another soldier without having to engage him in direct combat.

Try dealing with enemy forces from here and then move towards the pick-up truck where the first group of enemies was standing. Move slightly to your right and aim for an explosive barrel seen in the distance to kill a new terrorist #1. You may now start attacking remaining enemy units - most of them will hide somewhere to your left #2.

Make sure to use cover wisely, because if you expose yourself to enemy fire you'll die very quickly. If you can't see enemies from behind the truck you may consider moving towards one of the nearby blue pillars #1. One of enemy soldiers may also be hiding inside the gas station #2. Thankfully you can easily surprise him by entering the building using a doorway located behind the burning tanker truck.

Be careful, because the area further away may be guarded by a single soldier and the best way to get to him is to proceed towards the left alleyway #1. Make sure it's safe here before proceeding to the gate leading to the next area #2.

Option B: I wouldn't recommend choosing this method unless you desperately want to avoid unnecessary casualties. Leave the big truck you've used for cover and head right #1. Eventually you should get to a pick-up truck without wheels #2.

Notice that there's a large hole in the nearby wall #1 and you can use it to get closer to the gas station. Take cover behind a red vehicle and start moving towards the white building #2. Naturally you should always remain behind cover and move quickly between nearby objects so that you won't be seen by anyone.

Get to the last concrete wall and from there you'll have to move towards a large wreck #1. Doing this will allow you to find an alternative entrance to the gas station. Ignore a single guard seen directly in front of you and approach a new doorway found to the right #2.

You must now quickly move towards a cover located directly in front of the exit #1. Notice enemy units to your right - throw a grenade there #2. Make sure that the grenade lands in the middle of them so that the explosion will kill either all of them or at least most of them.

Wait until the guards passes by your cover #1. Quickly eliminate him with your pistol, as well as other opponents in your vicinity. Start running to your right and it shouldn't take long until you've reached a blue gate #2. Head on to the next section of the map.

Walkthrough (continued): You may start moving towards new buildings seen in the distance #1. Take cover behind an orange vehicle #2. You won't be allowed to remain hidden in this part of the mission so instead you'll have to plan your assault.

I would recommend that you start off by eliminating enemies standing inside the closest building. This can be achieved by destroying a red explosive barrel found next to them #1. As soon as they're gone deal with a single guard standing to the left of the building #2.

You should also quickly deal with two other enemies - one of them will be standing on the roof of the building where the explosion took place #1 and his colleague can be found to the right #2 (make sure to kill him quickly before he tries to flank you).

Things will get easier from now on. You may be attacked by additional enemy units #1, however shooting at them from a larger distance won't be a problem (just make sure to avoid the grenades). Proceed to your right after you've dealt with enemy units, moving from cover to cover #2. There's a large group near the crossroads seen in the distance and you may attack them by aiming for an explosive barrel or ignore them for the time being.

You should eventually make your way to a destroyed building #1. Enter this building and find another exit to get to a small square. Instead of moving towards the main road you choose a smaller passageway near a large destroyed wall #2.

Despite what you might think you won't be safe here, because this area should be patrolled by two enemy soldiers #1. Kill them before moving closer to your destination. Surprise enemies standing near the crossroads #2 by destroying explosive barrels. Make sure that it's safe here before leaving cover.

You may exit the building and proceed towards a blue gate seen in the distance #1. Enter school grounds. Head on to your left here in order to enter a new building #2.

Turn right after you've entered the building and then left #1. Take cover next to a new corridor and remain here, because enemy units will appear in the area. You can use many different methods to get rid of them. One of the possibilities would be to wait for one of the guards to get closer in order to defeat him in melee combat #2.

If you don't want to risk too much you should consider throwing a grenade #1 or shooting at the enemies as soon as they've entered the corridor #2. Make sure to avoid grenades being thrown towards the main character and don't be surprised to see them change their positions often.

Proceed to the other end of the corridor when it's safe and then carefully turn right #1. There are three enemies in the next room. You can use a grenade again or eliminate them one by one #2 (from the distance or when taking cover behind the right wall).

Enter the room where enemy units were taking cover and proceed towards a new door located to your right #1. There aren't any other hostiles in nearby rooms so you won't have to be moving slowly. Find a blue gate and exit the building #2.

Press the crouch key and carefully approach a new building located to the right #1. If you look inside you'll notice that the person being held here is... Fisher. Stand close to the window and take out both guards with your assault rifle #2.

You may now enter this building using the left door. Approach Fisher and press the action key to free him #1. Wait until the cut-scene has ended and quickly take cover near a destroyed section of the building wall #2.

Start attacking enemy units. I would recommend that you eliminate guards seen on two nearby rooftops as soon as possible. The first group is stationed to the left #1 and the other one to the right #2. Naturally destroying explosive barrels in both cases is highly recommended.

Other red barrels can be found directly in front of you, near parked trucks #1. Aside from blowing them up you should be throwing grenades at larger groups of enemy troops #2. Keep defending yourselves until an allied APC arrives.
