You can approach the mission in two ways:

• Search for the rose on your own. Description in Step 1, Option A.
• Take Triss with you. Description in Step 1, Option B.

Notice! If you choose to go with Triss, you will have the chance to have intercourse with her. You can change your mind before heading out.

Step 1, Option A: Find the rose of remembrance on your own or talk with the citizens of Binduga

If you don't know where to look for the rose, it's worth to head to Binduga and ask the locals. Above all you should pay a visit to Cedric (M7, 7) - treat him with vodka and he will give you the information. He will point you to the old elven ruins - once a place occupied by lovers.

Step 2: Find the rose of remembrance

Head through the woods to the south, towards the elven ruins (M8, 18). On your way, look out for Nekkers, Endregas and traps. Right beside the waterfall you will find a path - follow it and eventually you will climb up to the garden. Pick the rose of remembrance from below the statue.

Step 3: Give the rose to Triss

You can return to Triss and give her the flower - you will find her in the tavern (M7, 3). The sorceress needs a few days to prepare the spell and in the meantime you can meet with Iorweth. Your companion will try to convince you to throw everything away - depending on whether you agree or not, you will be able to talk with Roche.

Step 4: Speak with Vernon Roche

If you agree to throw everything, you will be able to talk with Roche. If you want to focus on clearing your name, the mission will end and you will be immediately able to talk with Zoltan. Roche can be found in Blue Stripes headquarters (M7, 29). Wanting to escape with Triss doesn't have an influence on the future events.

Prize: 500 XP

Step 1, Option B: Find the rose of remembrance together with Triss

If you agree to look for the Rose with Triss, your companion will direct you to the waterfall (M8, 8).

Step 2: Go up, to the ruins

On the left you will find a path which will lead you to the old elven ruins.

Step 3: Pick the rose of remembrance

Once you reach the monument, you should note multiple roses beneath it - pick one rose of remembrance and give it to Triss - irrespective of your dialogue choices, she will get it in the end.

Step 4: Defeat the bandits

Eventually you will get attacked by three bandits. They're not equipped to well and additionally Triss will be helping you, so you should deal with them in no time. One of the bandits will want to jump on Triss, but Geralt will save her in time and they will both land in an elven bathhouse.

Step 5: Find an exit from the bathhouse. Talk with Triss

You have to find an exit from the bathhouse. You can do it in two ways:

Talk with Triss and afterwards use Aard on the weak looking wall on the left to create a passage.

After going out you will get attacked by Scoia'tael. Go to Step 6.

Notice! Inside the chest you will find Wild Hunt - read the notes and you will be able to talk with Dandelion about it.

During the conversation with Triss, you might suggest she should take a bath. A cutscene featuring Geralt and Triss having sex will start.

In this case, time will flow so fast that eventually Vernon Roche will arrive and help you get out. You will also talk with your companion.

Step 6: Talk with Vernon Roche

If you agree to throw everything, you will be able to talk with Roche. If you want to focus on clearing your name, the mission will end and you will be immediately able to talk with Zoltan. Depending on whether you had sex with Triss in the bathhouse, Roche can be found either in the bathhouse or in the Blue Stripes headquarters (M7, 29). Wanting to escape with Triss doesn't have an influence on the future events.
