Step 1: Talk with the count Maravel

Step 2: Talk with the blackmailers before a Kimbolt's hunter get them

Go nearby the amphitheatre where you find mentioned blackmailers [#3]. Unfortunately, during the talk Kimbolt's men appear and you have to decide on which side you stand:

• You won't intervene;
• You defend the blackmailers.

Remark! If you let blackmailers die, you won't know the truth and the quest ends up with a failure.

Step 3: Protect the blackmailers

In the second case the fight begins. You can't kill the bandit's leader, his mates aren't too good so you can rely on yourself. Remember about the Quen Sign. If you protect the blackmailers, you'll get to know all the truth and also persuade Chieftain to make a testimony in front of Natalis.
