Chapter 4: Guess Who's Coming to Dinner | Episode II: Starved for Help The Walking Dead Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
When you regain control of Lee, you can optionally look around the room. There are various sorts of diplomas and awards hanging on the wall on the right - a Baseball Trophy, a College Diploma, an award for the best dairy #1 Most Appealing Cow Spots, 1978 Ribbon, and the High School Diploma. To the right of the stairs on the floor are some strange Scratches you can look at.
You can also go into the bathroom to the left of the stairs and open the Medical Cabinet above the sink. There are a few things you can look at - the Box, Shaving Cream, Bottle. You can leave the cabinet open - it does not matter. So far there's nothing suspicious here, however, if you try to go back to the dining room, you will hear a cry for help. Therefore, go up the stairs. Do not worry about the creak - no one will hear you.
Upstairs there are two doors - left (the further one) and right one (the closer one). Start with the first. Open the Closet Door and search the closet. The items you will find here are much more puzzling.
On the shelves, from top to bottom there are the following items: Morphine, Box of Candles, Towel, Medical Supplies, Trashcan and Power Cord. "Use" the Power Cord to turn on the light in the hidden room behind the closet wall.
Next, leave the scene and open the Bedroom Door on the right to come in. There will be even more suspicious things inside. First of all, the Bed is empty. Second, there's a blood Stain on the floor. Also, look at the Bookshelf in the background and then try to push it. You will see another Door - open it.
Behind the door you will find Mark. Legless. You probably know by now where the meat that Brenda prepared a dinner with came from. Now you must RUN downstairs to the dining room if you do not want Clementine to eat human flesh. In the dining room a conversation will develop and both the speed at which you came here and the answers that you'll choose will be important.
1. "Clementine is about to eat human meat. You need to stop her."
(1): IT'S PEOPLE! | You couldn't stop Clementine from eating! |
(2): DON'T EAT THAT! | You stopped Clementine from eating! |
(3): CLEMENTINE, NO! | You stopped Clementine from eating! |
(4): Spit that out! | You tried to stop her! (this option will appear if you didn't come to the dining room in time to stop her from eating). |
(5): | - |
If you took too long to come down to the dining room, some of these options will be the same, but will appear written in small letters. Choosing them will show the same message as option (4), namely that you tried to stop Clementine ("You tried to stop her!"). Silence will make Clementine eat human flesh.
2. "Yeah, Lee, what's gotten into you?"
(1): Mark is upstairs, LEGLESS! | You chose to be direct! (skip conversation 2b) |
(2): You are eating HUMAN meat. | You chose to be direct!! (skip conversation 2b) |
(3): This woman is fucking INSANE! | See below - conversation 2b. |
(4): ... | See below - conversation 2b. |
If you choose option (3) or (4), you will take part in an additional dialogue at the table.
2b. "That's enough, Larry."
(1): That woman is running a slaughterhouse. | - |
(2): That woman just fed you a man's legs! | - |
(3): Fuck you, Larry. Eat up. | You let Larry eat human flesh. |
(4): ... | - |
3. "Don't indulge him, Lilly. It's always something with this guy."
(1): They're picking us off to trade as meat. | - |
(2): We need to get the kids out of here! | - |
(3): Go upstairs and have a look! | - |
(4): ... | If you stayed silent the whole time in this dialogue and all the previous ones, you'll see the message "Brenda noticed you've been silent." |
4. "(...) To continue to rot til' they eat some more."
(1): You're all sick! | You chose to be direct! |
(2): Just let us go. | You chose to plead with them. |
(3): We outnumber you. | You chose to threaten them! |
(4): ... | - |
Your other answers do not matter. Lee, Clementine, Lilly, Larry and Kenny will be imprisoned in the barn.
