The group hopes that zombies won't make it inside, but this is a false impression. The sequence of defense against undead starts with giving orders. Lee commands his friends - the number of dialogue options varies depending on whether Ben is in the group or not, but it always starts with Christa, who will remember your choice. Regardless of the size of the group and issued commands, Omid is the last person, but he doesn't listen to Lee's orders.

The reason is simple - a front door is open! Next dialogue options are irrelevant - any of them will make all persons trying to help Omid.

Lee also starts running towards him but he gets caught by a zombie.

[PANIC EVENT - START]

Kick the Dog Door until you cut off zombie's hand (4 times). In the meantime the rest of your group tries to close the front door, but you have to help him by cutting off more hands.

Lee heads to the kitchen - there are three interactive drawers but the proper tool, a chopper, is located in the right upper one. Open the Drawer.

Lee runs to the front door, where you have to chop zombies' Arms.

[PANIC EVENT - END]

The next dialogue doesn't matter for the action, because after choosing any option, zombie will get inside anyway. Lee gets attacked by zombie Brie - you can chop her with the chopper or wait, until Omid kills her. The entire group runs to the floor in order to prepare for a defense.

[PANIC EVENT - START]

Help Kenny to push the Desk and then quickly keep pressing proper keys shown on the screen.

The group shelters in a corridor where after a while zombies will appear. Shoot until your clip is empty.

[PANIC EVENT - END]

At some point all of you get out of ammo and the only option is escape to the attic. Quickly pull the Rope, getting the ladder leading up (if you don't make it, Christa will do it instead of you). Lee loses his gun climbing up the ladder.
