Why can't I win the race in The Crew 2? The Crew 2 Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 29 June 2018
In the Crew 2 you can experience very difficult races where it is practically impossible to catch up with other vehicles, even though you are riding flawlessly. The most likely solution to this potential problem is described below.
The problem of other vehicles moving too fast is largely caused by a parameter called the level of performance. This is a factor that determines the overall performance of individual machines.
Before starting the competition, you can see their recommended level of performance. In the example above the picture is 190 points. Our vehicle has 240 points, so it's quite a large margin, and should be very competitive in the race.
In the example from the next picture the recommended level is for a change much higher - 110 points compared to 46 points of the level of performance of your car. It will be very difficult to pass such a test.
You may be confronted with a much higher recommended level if:
- You set the difficulty to Hard.
- You've chosen a late-stage race using a slow car.
You can check the level of performance for all your vehicles in the garage - in the example from the above picture it's equal to 240 points (out of 320 possible). You can increase the "default" level of performance of a given car by installing parts obtained by collecting loot boxes.
