List of PB (Powerboat), TC (Touring Car), AR (Air Race) and AGP (Alpha) vehicles The Crew 2 Guide and Walkthrough

Last update: 29 June 2018

Powerboat (PB), Touring Car (TC), Air Race (AR) are all names of a few selected groups of vehicles available in The Crew 2. All of them are part of the main category, Pro Racing. Below you can find their list and general information about each of the groups.

Explanatory notes for the table's content and used abbreviations

The second column in our table is the most enigmatic one. Shortcuts used there are the same as those used in the game and they inform you to which group a given vehicle belongs to - in which contests you can use it. Here is the list of the contest categories that are available in the game (besides that there are also unique mini-groups for helicopters and hovercraft):

  1. SR - Street Race (one of the categories with the biggest number of vehicles)
  2. DF - Drift
  3. DR - Drag Race (races in a straight line)
  4. HC - Hypercar (races of the most powerful cars)
  5. RR - Rally Raid (races where you can drive raid cars and bikes)
  6. RX - Rally Cross (races where you can drive rally cars)
  7. MX - Motocross
  8. AB - Aerobatics
  9. JS - Jetsprint (races with jetsprint boats)
  10. MT - Monster Truck
  11. PB - Power Boat (boats with powerful engines)
  12. TC - Touring Car (heavily modified road-going cars)
  13. AGP - Alpha GP (single-seater cars)
  14. AR - Air Race (race planes)

The third column in our table lists two prices. The first is the "main" one in bucks (you get them by, e.g. participating in the contests). The second alternate currency are the Crew Credits. You can get them with real money (microtransactions), by reaching new carrer levels (Popular, Star, Icon) or by participating in special challenges.

The fourth column in the table informs about the default perf level of a given vehicle. This parameter determines a vehicle's performance and possibilities. It can be increased by installing new upgrades (received from lootboxes). Each vehicle category has a different maximum perf level (e.g. 280 points for Street Race category).

The fifth column informs about the default handling of a given vehicle - how easy (or difficult) a vehicle is to handle. This value can also change with upgrades. For example, a vehicle with increased power can be harder to handle - giving it better tires can change that.

Information and tips for PB category

Vehicle - List of PB (Powerboat), TC (Touring Car), AR (Air Race) and AGP (Alpha) vehicles - Vehicles - The Crew 2 Game Guide
  1. You can access PB group right after starting the career mode. Simply complete the introduction part for Pro Racing category (the blue color).
  2. The first vehicle from this group can be added to your garage right after the start - it's Proto Offshore Mk1.
  3. Proto Offshore Mk1 has mediocre perf level but you don't have to hurry up with replacing it. Wait until you reach Icon 400 level and receive an "upgraded" version of that boat - Proto Offshore Mk2.

Information and tips for TC category

Vehicle - List of PB (Powerboat), TC (Touring Car), AR (Air Race) and AGP (Alpha) vehicles - Vehicles - The Crew 2 Game Guide
  1. Initially, the TC category is locked in the career mode. You can unlock it by gathering enough followers and reaching Popular fame level. Then, you have to visit the meeting place for the Pro Racing category.
  2. Touring Car is a category with a huge variety of vehicles. However, the game won't give you any of them for free upon unlocking this category. To buy a decent car from this group you will need to spend around 400,000 bucks.
  3. After reaching Icon 500 level you will get BMW M Performance M4 Racing. This is a very good car although it's not the best in this category. "The best" vehicles in the TC category have around 240-250 perf level points. One of these cars is Saleen S7R with 254 perf level points which costs 406,700 bucks. Sadly, its disadvantage is that it handles worse than other TC cars. Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo for around 700,000 bucks is a much safer choice.
  4. Other bonus vehicles in the TC category are Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe (you get it by winning a special contest from the TC category - Going Back to My Roots) and Aston Martin Vulcan. Sadly, the second car can only be acquired after beating the master of Pro Racing category..

Information and tips for AR category

  1. Initially, the AR category is locked in the career mode. You can unlock it by gathering enough followers and reaching Famous fame level. Then, you have to visit the meeting place for the Pro Racing category.
  2. The game won't give you any of the planes for free, you have to pay for them yourself. The majority of them is expensive. However, Slick Aircraft 360HP which has rather good perf level costs only about 200,000 bucks. This should be your first plane from this category.

Information and tips for AGP category

Vehicle - List of PB (Powerboat), TC (Touring Car), AR (Air Race) and AGP (Alpha) vehicles - Vehicles - The Crew 2 Game Guide
  1. Initially, the AGP category is locked in the career mode. You can unlock it by gathering enough followers and reaching Star fame level. Then, you have to visit the meeting place for the Pro Racing category.
  2. The game features only two vehicles and none of them can be acquired for free. These vehicles have similar perf levels but RedBull costs 150,000 bucks less than the second car. Use the option to have a free test drive with both of them. In our opinion, there is no point in paying more for the fictional Proto Alpha Mark II.
