Icon levels in Crew 2 The Crew 2 Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 02 July 2018
Reaching new Icon levels can be treated as an endgame feature of The Crew 2. You can start getting them before unlocking The Grand Finale event or after completing it. Below you can find all the important information on this topic.
The last "main" fame level in The Crew 2 is Icon. From now on you can get numbered "smaller" levels - Icon 2, Icon 3, Icon 4 etc. They have smaller requirements when it comes to followers - thanks to that you won't have to wait too long with reaching new levels as it was with, e.g. going from Star to Icon.
What you get for reaching higher Icon levels?
- Every 10 levels you can get a special box with a unique part - go to the Timeline tab. The received part is tied to your current active discipline (determined by your current vehicle). For example, if you want to get a high-quality part for SR class, switch to any of your vehicles from that category before you open a lootbox.
- Reach Icon 50 level to unlock Are You a God? Say Yes gold trophy.
- Every 100 levels you can get a unique vehicle for free. These vehicles are Chevrolet Corvette ZL1 (Icon 100), WACO Aircraft Corp. YMF-5D Super Aerobatics Edition (Icon 200), Peugeot 3008 DKR Maxi (Icon 300), Proto Offshore Mk2 (Icon 400), BMW M Performance M4 Racing (Icon 500) and Ferrari LaFerrari (Icon 600). The last vehicle can't be bought in the usual way (with bucks).
That is not all - reaching a new Icon level gives you 1 icon point. You can spend these points in the Pilot tab. Here, you have three different "skill trees" and each one of them offers a dozen of different skills that you can develop. We recommend the following abilities:
- Rich (Comfort category) - you get more bucks.
- Popular (Comfort category) - get followers faster.
- Goldfinger (Comfort category) - increases your chance to get lootboxes.
- Lucky (Comfort category) - increases your chance to get more valuable parts from lootboxes.
- Muddy (Vehicle category) - reduces the negative effects of driving on bumps and limits the slowdown effect when driving on roads that aren't made out of asphalt.
- Hothead (Gameplay category) - increases speed multiplier in Drift events.
- Slippery (Gameplay category) - increases the maximum multiplier in Drift events.
