Equipment | Hints Sniper Elite III Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
The main character in the game, besides the obvious sniper rifle, has an access to various elements of equipment. You can select them both by pressing the specific button, as well as by displaying the drop-down equipment menu (as displayed on the above screenshot). The most important parts of your equipment are:
- Sniper Rifle
- Secondary weapon - you have absolute freedom in choosing your secondary weapon, that's why it can either be some small machinegun, as well as a huge Panzerschreck
- Pistol - it's best if it's equipped with a silencer
- Bandages - they heal your character partially
- First-Aid Kits - they allow you to regenerate all of your health
- Trip Mines - it's a good tactic to set them up in narrow passages, especially when you have to defend against enemy attacks (when the mission calls for that, or when you've been detected)
- S-Mines - they are used against enemy troops (as the previous type), but they are characterized by a greater force of the explosion
- M24 Grenades - they come in handy whenever you want to get rid of a group of enemies crammed together. It's recommended to set the grenade's course on your own, so it will land in the exact spot you wanted it to land.
- Land Mines - they are ideal for the destruction of enemy vehicles (armored vehicles, tanks, etc.)
- Dynamite - sticks of dynamite inflict tremendous destruction, but there's one major drawback to their usage - after throwing them, you must hit them (a sniper rifle is best at the job).
- Stones - a good method to distract enemy troops, so that you can eliminate them in a safe place, or simply sneak by behind their backs.
- Flint - it can either be used to disorient enemy troops, as well as to detonate the explosives.
