Destroying the second rocket launcher | Mission 6 - Kasserine Pass Sniper Elite III Guide

The second of the launchers is in the South-Eastern part of the map (point 7 on the map) and you are, nearly, bound to run into the patrolling enemy halftrack, along your path (green line 1 on the map). You need to be really careful here, because the crew of the halftrack has a quite good range of seeing so, you can be spotted at a long distance, and also at an angle. If it is an option, mark the enemy vehicle, with the binoculars, thanks to which you will always know where it is at any given moment.
It is possible to walk around the enemy halftrack, but this would be burdensome. It passes by lots of important locations, which it would be good to secure, without any pressure, and explore afterwards. Therefore, I recommend that you deploy, e.g. a landmine along the vehicle's path and eliminate it this way. Another upside of this solution is that, unlike, e.g. the trucks in the fourth mission, the destroyed halftrack is not going to be replaced with another one.
After you have disposed of the halftrack. plan on your way to reach the second launcher (point 7 on the map). You can take the main paths (e.g. the one exactly to the South of this mission's starting point), go along the tunnels (points 2 on the map) or pass through the hill that you have already visited. (points 3 on the map).
Along your path to the second launcher, I recommend that you check out the central village (point 5 on the map). Slowly and methodically, eliminate the enemies here, avoid detection and remember about the opponents on the rooftops of some of the buildings. While here, explore the successive buildings. Thanks to this, you will obtain a new War Diary - Missives from Home; green point 3 on the map) and a collectible card (green point 4 on the map).
Your next stop, along your path to the destination point is the North-Western buildings (point 6 on the map). Here, there are smaller numbers of enemies, which does not mean that you should not keep appropriate precautions. Continue the exploration, thanks to which you will obtain two more War Diaries - Axis War Story: Remembering Emil and Vahlen's Journal: Usefulness of Rommel). Also, try to reach the top of the tower, which used to be occupied by the enemy sniper. Here, there is another sniper nest (blue point 2 on the map).
Just like in the case of the first launcher, you can decide, whether you want to destroy it at a range (by shooting at an explosive object) or approach it and throw the enemies a grenade. Regardless of what you did here, explore the building to the East of the destroyed launcher, to collect a collectible card (green point 7 on the map).
