Sniper Elite 5 has a platinum trophy (PS4 and PS5), although it can be quite time consuming. The trophy guide below should help you in unlocking 100% of the basic game achievements. You will learn about the trophies' requirements and how to fulfill them.

Basic information about the trophies

1. The basic content of Sniper Elite 5 offers 54 trophies - 1 platinum trophy (available only on PlayStation consoles), 2 gold trophies, 10 silver and 49 bronze trophies. Descriptions of these achievements can be found further on the page.
2. The game also has DLC trophies, and at the time of writing this trophy guide, an additional mission, Wolf Mountain, has been added. You can get 8 additional trophies. You don't have to complete the DLC mission to get platinum, although it can help you get some achievements from the basic content (e.g. finding a certain number of collectibles).
3. Best of the Best is the most difficult trophy - it forces you to complete the entire campaign on the realistic difficulty level. It is characterized by numerous difficulties like no help with aiming and disabled interface. We recommend beating the game twice - first on one of the lower difficulty levels to get most of the campaign-related trophies, and the second time on the realistic to unlock the last achievement.
4. There are three online trophies, but they are not very difficult. In the case of the story campaign, you can choose between the solo mode and cooperation with another player. In both cases, you will be able to earn the same trophies.
5. You cannot miss any achievement. The game not only has the option of repeating stages (chapter select), but also encourages it with the possibility of unlocking alternative starting points or using better equipment acquired later.
6. The game has many relatively easy achievements, including eliminating enemies with specific weapons or obtaining collectibles. In the case of the latter, the fact that the game saves all the secrets right away is a huge help - you do not have to finish the mission to get the collectibles.
7. Many achievements easier and faster to obtain by setting the lowest difficulty level. Saving the game frequently may also help you with some trophy-related activities. It is unlimited and the game blocks it only during direct fights with opponents.

Platinum trophy (Sniper Elite)

How to unlock: Obtain all trophies.

Trophy type: platinum

Comment: Platinum trophy in Sniper Elite 5 is available only on PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Meeting Resistance

How to unlock: Weaken the Atlantic wall and rendezvous with Blue Viper.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You have to complete mission 1 (The Atlantic Wall) on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

Confirming Suspicions

How to unlock: Raid Chateau de Berengar and Moller's Office.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You have to complete mission 2 (Occupied Residence) on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

The Kraken Wakes

How to unlock: Infiltrate Beaumont-Saint-Denis and Uncover Operation Kraken.

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You need to complete mission 3 (Spy Academy) on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

It's Starting to Crack

How to unlock: Destroy Operation Kraken's production facility at Martressac.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You have to complete mission 4 (War Factory) on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

Change the Channel

How to unlock: Destroy the Prototype Stealth U-Boat hidden in Festung Guernsey.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You have to complete mission 5 (Festung Guernsey) on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

Taking It Back

How to unlock: Liberate Desponts-sur-Douve and secure Allied transport routes.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You have to complete mission 6 (Liberation) and on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

Target America

How to unlock: Destroy the V2 Launch Sites and Uncover the target of Operation Kraken.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You have to complete mission 7 (Secret Weapon) on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

The Kraken Sleeps

How to unlock: Stop Operation Kraken and sink its deadly fleet.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You need to complete mission 8 (Rubble and Ruin) on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

Can't Outrun the Bullet

How to unlock: Kill Moller with a rifle at a distance of 600 meters or more.

Trophy type: silver

Comment : This is one of the trophies related to the campaign epilogue - mission 9 (Loose Ends). We recommend that you select the Gewehr 1943 rifle from the mission preparation screen and equip it with the A2 Optical scope, which is the only one with a 16x zoom. You should also start the mission on the lowest difficulty level so as not to worry about advanced bullet physics.

You have to wait for Moller to get into the vehicle and head towards the northern end of the map. Use binoculars or a scope to check the current distance from the target. Fire the rifle when the distance exceeds 600 meters. Of course, you have to correctly aim at Moller sitting in the open car - he has to die from a single shot.

Climbing the Ladder

How to unlock: Reach rank 40.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: This achievement is about reaching level 40 in the campaign mode. You can earn experience points mainly by eliminating enemies (preferably by stealth and stunning them), destroying enemy vehicles and completing main and optional mission objectives.

Liberte

How to unlock: Complete the campaign.

Trophy type: gold

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the progress in the campaign, you cannot miss it. You have to complete all 9 main missions (including the epilogue Loose Ends) and you can do it on any difficulty level (including the easiest).

Best of the Best

How to unlock: Complete the entire campaign on Authentic difficulty.

Trophy type: gold

Comment: This is probably the most difficult trophy in the game. Authentic Mode is the highest difficulty level. It is much more demanding than the other ones, including the Sniper Elite (hard level). The main assumptions of the Authentic Mode are presented on a separate page - Difficulty levels. Here are some highlights and tips:

1. The highest difficulty level removes the user interface. Taking long shots is additionally hampered by the realistic bullets physics, which is influenced by distance as well as the force and direction of the wind. This can cause you to miss and alert enemies much more often. You can reduce this problem by firing shots from shorter distances (e.g. up to 100 meters) and using other weapons more often (e.g. silencer pistol) and takedowns.
2. The opponents are stronger and the main character doesn't have a regenerating health bar. As a result, you should try to complete all missions while remaining hidden and avoid direct confrontations at all costs. Identifying enemies is equally important - use binoculars even more often to locate enemies, and throwing bottles to distract them and lure away to secluded places.

We recommend focusing on this trophy during your second playthrough. This will allow you to ignore dealing with side quests or searching for collectibles and focus only on the main objectives of the mission so you can complete them as quickly as possible. In addition, you will be familiar with all the maps, and, most of all, the optimal paths or the hideouts of enemy snipers.

No Stone Unturned

How to unlock: Complete 16 optional objectives.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Each main mission has from one to several side missions - you need to complete them to unlock this trophy. We included these side quests in our walkthrough.

Opposing Force

How to unlock: Win one Axis Invasion as an Invader.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the online trophies. You need to play the Axis Invasion mode, in which you go to the campaign of another player. You have to successfully run a raid.

Enemy at the Gates

How to unlock: Defeat an invading Sniper Jager.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the online trophies. Enable the Allow Axis Invasion option in the first tab of the game settings. It will allow other players to invade your game.

When a hostile player appears on your map, you must track them down and eliminate.

Fields of Glory

How to unlock: Join and finish one team-based PVP match.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the online trophies. In the main menu, select multiplayer and then Team Match.

The fact that you don't have to win the match is a great help. The only thing that counts is getting to the end of the match, i.e. to the summary screen. You should then automatically unlock the trophy.

Just a Flesh Wound

How to unlock: Complete a mission, excluding the "Loose Ends" mission, in any difficulty without healing.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: This is a fairly simple achievement, because you can play even on the easiest difficulty level and, most of all, use the options to save and load the game. This way, you can correct your mistakes, e.g. after taking fall damage or being attacked by an enemy. You should be able to unlock the achievement on the mission 1 summary screen without any problems.

Organ Grinder

How to unlock: Hit every organ at least once with a rifle.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: There is a good chance that you will unlock this trophy simply by going through the campaign. The game always informs you about which organs you hit (e.g. head, limb, heart, liver). You can increase your chances of unlocking the achievement by targeting different parts of the enemies' bodies, instead of just the heads. However, make sure that it is not an armored enemy, as shooting his covered part of the body may not be enough to kill him (or use the appropriate ammunition to pierce the armor).

If you have trouble getting the trophy, try to hit the testicles or the heart - these are the organs that are statistically hit the least frequently.

Strategist

How to unlock: Make a tank shoot and destroy another enemy vehicle.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You can get this trophy in mission 7 on the lowest difficulty level.

Reach the southern outpost with two tanks. You can hide behind one of them and provoke the other tank to use the main gun (let it spot you). Optionally, you can also quickly run up to one of the "normal" vehicles passing in the area (e.g. truck, armored car).

Master of Pistols

How to unlock: Obtain six pistol-related mastery medals.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the achievements related to unlocking medals for using different types of weapons. In this case, you have to use pistols.

There are 6 pistol models associated with the medals:

1. M1911
2. Mk VI Revolver
3. Model D
4. Pistole 08
5. Type 14 Nambu
6. Welrod

Some of these pistols need to be unlocked first - the requirements for obtaining them are displayed in the loadout window. You need to earn a separate medal for each pistol - you must use that weapon for 50 silent kills. You have to eliminate enemies (preferably with a headshot) who are not in the alerted state. After you get a medal for a given weapon, switch to the next one.

Master of Secondaries

How to unlock: Obtain six secondary-related mastery medals.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the achievements related to unlocking medals for using different types of weapons. In this case, you need to use submachine guns.

There are 6 models of submachine guns associated with the medals:

1. M1A1 Gov. SMG
2. Machine Pist. 40
3. Machine Pist. 44
4. Stengun Mk2
5. Type 100
6. Welgun SMG

Some of these submachine guns need to be unlocked first - the requirements for obtaining them are displayed in the loadout window. You need to earn a separate medal for each submachine gun - you must use that weapon for 150 kills. After you get a medal for a given weapon, switch to the next one.

Master of Rifles

How to unlock: Obtain six rifle-related mastery medals.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the achievements related to unlocking medals for using different types of weapons. In this case, you need to use rifles.

There are 6 rifle models related to the medals:

1. Gewehr 1943
2. Karabiner 98
3. M.1903
4. M1A Carbine
5. RSC 1918
6. SREM-1

Some of these rifles need to be unlocked first - the requirements for obtaining them are displayed in the loadout window. You need to get a separate medal for each rifle - you must use weapons to get 50 headshots from a distance of over 100 meters. Look for every opportunity for a long-distance shot. After you get a medal for a given weapon, switch to the next one.

Master-at-arms

How to unlock: Become the Master of each weapon.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: You need to unlock the 3 trophies described above - Master of Pistols, Master of Secondaries and Master of Rifles.

Gunslinger

How to unlock: Kill 150 enemies with a Pistol.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is a simple trophy, because you can kill using all available pistol models.

Skirmisher

How to unlock: Kill 300 enemies with a Secondary Weapon.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is a simple trophy, because you can kill using all available submachine guns. Since you have to kill 300 enemies, try to use SMGs as often as possible (preferably one with a silencer).

Sharpshooter

How to unlock: Kill 350 enemies with a Rifle.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is a simple trophy, because you can kill using all available rifle models.

The Long Game

How to unlock: Total kill distance of 100,000 meters.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: The game counts the distance of all shots from all weapons, but you can unlock the achievement faster if you regularly use a sniper rifle with a good scope.

The perfect place to farm long-distance shots is the beginning of mission 3. Immediately after starting that mission, you will get to the vantage point presented in the picture above. You can kill enemies located 400 meters away from you or even farther. After shooting all the enemies you see, rester the mission and start killing them again. The game will not delete your progress in the total shot distance.

Set Europe Ablaze

How to unlock: Kill 50 enemies with traps.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: During the game, you can use various types of traps, but the Teller Mines are the best. The easiest way to get kills is to put mines on the roads. When a vehicle hits a mine, the game will count the deaths of the entire crew. So, at a time, it can be, for example, 2-3 kills (example in the picture).

If you want, you can repeat this by loading the previous save. The game counts all kills with traps - you can kill the same enemies multiple times.

Precision is Key

How to unlock: Kill 150 enemies with any weapon while in Iron Sights.

Trophy type: bronze

Commentary: You need to use Iron Sights, i.e. aim a weapon without a scope. You can find these types of weapons in the game world or modify the ones you have at workbenches.

Out of Scope

How to unlock: Kill 150 enemies with a rifle while in Iron Sights.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This trophy is very similar to Precision is Key. Choose any of your rifles and install the Iron Sights in the weapon modification window instead of a scope. You can also use rifles found in the game world that do not have a scope.

Rigged to Blow

How to unlock: Kill 20 soldiers using booby traps.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You can use Booby Traps from the very beginning of the game. These traps can be used in two types of situations:

1. Placing a trap on an opponent's corpse.
2. Placing a trap on a device, such as a sabotaged generator.

In both cases, you need to hold down the appropriate button and have at least 1 grenade in your inventory.

The next step is to lure the opponents to a booby trap, e.g. by throwing a bottle or by whistling. Try to lure several enemies at the same time. You can also save the game just before detonating a booby trap and then load the save. You can kill the same enemies with a booby trap mutliple times.

My Little Friend

How to unlock: Kill 50 soldiers with heavy weapons.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This achievement requires using Panzerfausts, i.e. rocket launchers that can be found while completing the mission. An easily accessible Panzerfaust is on the pier in mission 2 (picture above) - south of the town with the resistance hideout.

After taking a Panzerfaust, look for a group of enemies so that you can kill several of them in one explosion. You can also save the game before using the rocket launcher, load the previous save and attack the same enemies again (the game will count them as new kills).

Explosive Efficiency

How to unlock: Kill 3 on-foot soldiers with one grenade.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: There are many opportunities in the game to get this trophy easily. The first good opportunity appears during mission 2. You can shoot the truck that is driving on the main road and wait for the enemies to run out of it (there should be exactly three of them). Toss them a grenade before they spread out.

Another good place is the training building in mission 3. Here you will meet a group of 3 enemies from the picture above standing next to each other - throw them a grenade without being noticed earlier.

Lord of War

How to unlock: Get a kill with 20 different weapons.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is a simple achievement, because you can also use the weapons you find - those lying around and taken from defeated opponents. Try to use each of them to kill at least 1 person. Of course, you can also switch between the various permanent weapons.

Die Nusscracker Sweet!

How to unlock: Get a testicle shot with a rifle from a distance of 100 meters or more.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: You shouldn't have big problems with getting this trophy. When aiming at the enemy, pay attention to the information about the distance from the target - it must be more than 100 meters. Aim for the crotch. You can also set the lowest difficulty level so that you don't have to correct the bullet's trajectory - it will fly in a straight line.

Resourceful

How to unlock: Kill 50 enemy soldiers with Found Weapons.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: The rules for using the weapons found in the game world are described in more detail on the Temporary weapons - can you keep them? page. As a reminder, you cannot add them to your inventory and each of these weapons has only one clip/magazine - they become useless after emptying it.

First of all, find good rifles (example in the picture) and try to use all their ammunition to kill nearby enemies. This will allow you to get the achievement quite early in the campaign.

Der Geist

How to unlock: Achieve 250 ghost kills.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: To get a ghost kill, you must kill an enemy who is not attacking the hero at the moment (because they are not aware of your presence). You can do a variety of stealth attacks - using different types of weapons (try to aim for heads so that the opponent does not survive the attack), and takedowns.

As Quiet as a Mouse

How to unlock: Kill 50 enemies during a Sound Mask.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: The sound masking can occur while you are in the loud area, symbolized by the sound wave visible at the top of the screen - an example is shown in the picture. Loud areas are divided into:

1. Occurring naturally - they can be, for example, the sounds of the engines of passing airplanes or the sounds of gunshots.
2. Created as a result of the hero's actions - you can, for example, sabotage the generator or the engine of a parked vehicle so that it starts to make noise.

Regardless of the circumstances, fire before the sound wave disappears from the screen, because then the gunshot will no longer be masked.

Close Quarters

How to unlock: Perform 100 lethal takedowns.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This achievement has a simple premise - sneak up on enemies from behind to perform a takedown. It must be a takedown that kills the enemy. Stunning enemies doesn't count for this trophy.

Snake in the Grass

How to unlock: While in Tall Grass, kill 50 soldiers.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Tall grass appears in many places in the game world - you will find a lot of it in mission 1. Get in the grass and attack nearby enemies from it. You can use focus to mark enemies to make it easier to aim despite the grass limiting your view.

From Paris with Love

How to unlock: Collect 41 Personal letters.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to finding secrets in story missions. In this case, it is about collecting a total of 41 unique Personal Letters. We have covered the locations of these objects in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.

Burn After Reading

How to unlock: Collect 39 classified documents.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to finding secrets in story missions. In this case, it is about collecting a total of 39 Classified Documents. We have covered the locations of these objects in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.

Souvenir Hunter

How to unlock: Collect 24 Hidden Items.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to finding secrets in story missions. You have to collect a total of 24 Hidden Items. We have covered the locations of these objects in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.

Eagle Eyed

How to unlock: Destroy 24 Dead-eye Targets.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to finding secrets in story missions. You have to destroy 24 Stone Eagles (example in the picture), called Dead-eye Targets.

You need not only to locate each of the eagles (preferably with binoculars), but also stand in a spot that would allow you to shoot it (preferably with a rifle with a good scope). We have covered the locations of these objects in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.

Tinkerer

How to unlock: Interact with 24 workbenches.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to finding secrets in story missions. You have to locate 24 Workbenches and interact with them to unlock new weapon attachments. We have covered the locations of these objects in the Secrets and collectibles chapter.

It'll Buff Right Out

How to unlock: Destroy Moller's shiny new car.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This achievement is related to mission 2. Moller's car is a large convertible with flags on the sides of the hood. It is parked in the main courtyard of the chateau and is shown in the picture above. The easiest way to destroy the vehicle is by throwing grenades at it.

Locomotion Commotion

How to unlock: In Martressac, create an accident that destroys the train in the storage area.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This achievement is related to mission 4. Explore the southern part of the factory where you have to locate a large crane visible in the distance. Use a sniper rifle. You have to aim at the crane mechanism in the cabin - we marked it in the picture. Hitting it will lead to an accident (short cut-scene).

Up Close and Personal

How to unlock: Melee takedown each one of the three snipers guarding the bridge.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This achievement is related to mission 6. The snipers are hiding in the western town and their hideouts are shown in the picture (a destroyed church tower and floors of two residential buildings).

The description of reaching the snipers can be found in on the Securing the crossing page in the walkthrough section. You can't shoot them - you have to sneak up on them from behind. Travel around the outskirts of the city, use as many covers as possible and watch the radar. Try not to alarm regular enemies.

Road Rage

How to unlock: In Research Facility, find and destroy one of each type of vehicle present in this mission.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This achievement is related to mission 7. Try to get more Teller Mines (place them on the main roads) and spend more time finding Panzerfausts and explosives on the map (they will be useful mainly for sabotaging tanks).

There are 6 different vehicles to destroy in the Secret Weapon mission. These are:

1. motorcycle with a trailer,
2. kubelwagen - a smaller passenger vehicle,
3. truck (you can destroy any),
4. armored vehicle,
5. tank - you can find them at the southern outpost (picture 1) and the shooting range at the eastern edge of the map,
6. patrol boat - it swims on the lake (north-west part of the map - picture 2) and aim at its weak points (e.g. tanks).

Don't Hold Your Breath

How to unlock: Make the final shot in St Nazaire without using Empty Lung.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This achievement is related to mission 8 and concerns the last mission objective, which we described in the walkthrough on the Destroying the U-Boots and the Kraken page.

At the end of the mission, you have to reach the viewpoint from which the final shot is taken. Do not hold down the breath key. The target of the attack is a fairly large fuel tank and you should easily hit it even with empty lungs.

Brains of the Operation

How to unlock: Kill Moller with a headshot.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment : This is one of the trophies related to the campaign epilogue - mission 9 (Loose Ends). Use any sniper rifle with a scope and aim at the antagonist's head.

Sight Beyond Sights

How to unlock: Kill Moller with a rifle, while in Iron Sights.

Trophy type: bronze

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the campaign epilogue - mission 9 (Loose Ends). We have included all the variants of killing Moller in our walkthrough.

Comment: This is one of the trophies related to the campaign epilogue - mission 9 (Loose Ends). Prepare yourself before starting the mission. Choose any rifle you have and install an Iron Sights instead of the scope.

Additionally, we recommend taking Match ammunition with you, which will increase the chances that a single bullet will kill Moller.

Set the difficulty to the lowest to disable advanced bullet physics.

After the mission starts, use Match-Grade Rounds. Mark Moller with your binoculars and aim at the small group of pixels where he stands (example in the picture). Since the chance of missing is high, it is a good idea to save the game before taking a shot. You can hold the breath to stabilize the sight.

Shoot for the Moon

How to unlock: Complete three Survival missions.

Trophy type: silver

Comment: This achievement is related to the Survival Mode available in the main menu. You can complete missions alone or in co-operation. You have to defeat waves of enemies - to easily complete the challenge, choose the lowest difficulty level. This will make it easier for you to eliminate enemies since they will be less of a threat to the hero. You must survive to the end of the last wave on each map.
