Sniper Elite 5: Kill List Target from mission 2, Friedrich Kummler - walkthrough

Killing Friedrich Kummler is related to the kill list target (optional quest) included in mission 2 (Occupied Residence) of Sniper Elite 5. Our walkthrough will help you find out where Friedrich Kummler is and how to kill the mission target by dropping a chandelier on him to unlock a bonus weapon.

The whereabouts of the kill list target

Friedrich Kummler is the so-called Kill List Target - killing him is an optional task, but if you complete it by killing the man in the right way, you will unlock the K98k bonus weapon.

The mission target takes part in the meeting in the ballroom in the eastern part of the chateau - this place is marked in yellow in the picture above.

You can reach the ballroom more easily from the side of the moat - by climbing the vines and using the shutter.

This method, however, will make it difficult for you to kill the mission target without alerting the opponents, because you have to fire at the chandelier.

Instead, you can reach the balcony above the ballroom. Your first task will be to get to the upper floor of the chateau. For example, you can climb the vines in the main courtyard.

After reaching the upper balconies, go east to reach the staircase. Use it to go down to the lower floor.

Go a bit north. Eventually, you will be above the ballroom. You can use the binoculars here to identify the target. Friedrich Kummler has to approach the table marked in the picture - it should happen after the conversation.

On the right side, you will find a mechanism of the chandelier hanging above the ballroom. You have to sabotage it after Kummler stands next to the table. A falling chandelier should kill him without any problems, but to be sure, you can save the game in advance.
