Sniper Elite 5: Kill List Target (Mission 6): Jaan Trautmann - walkthrough

Murdering Jaan Trautmann is an optional objective of mission 6 (Liberation) in Sniper Elite 5. Our walkthrough explains how to eliminate the kill list target by poisoning him. You'll learn where to find Trautmann, where to find the poison and how to use it while staying undetected.

The location of the target

Jaan Trautmann is in the mansion in the western part of the map, which is marked from the beginning of the mission.

We recommend sneaking into the mansion to make the rest of the mission easier. You can easily approach the manor from the northern or north-western side. Make sure to eliminate the snipers from the western town first, as they can notice you otherwise.

Poisoning Jaan Trautmann

Trautmann is a Kill List target. In order to complete the optional challenge you'll have to poison him. This is the only way to obtain the Model D bonus weapon.

After sneaking into the mansion you have to find Poison - there's some by the stairs.

Walk upstairs to the upper floor. You can poison Trautmann's drink next to the locked room where he is.

After using the poison, ring the bell to inform your target about his meal and hide. Trautmann will drink the poison and die, completing the challenge.
