Deep Breath - cost: 2 skill points - Sniper Elite 5: Best skills - list - Basics - Sniper Elite 5 Guide, Walkthrough

Deep Breath - cost: 2 skill points. This ability works by reducing the jumps in heart rate caused by holding the air after you breathe in. This will make it easier for you to "aim longer" in situations where, for example, you need to shoot precisely at a very distant or moving enemy.

Focus Range - cost: 1 skill point - Sniper Elite 5: Best skills - list - Basics - Sniper Elite 5 Guide, Walkthrough

Focus Range - cost: 1 skill point. You can increase the range of the focus, i.e. spot enemies and unique items from a greater distance. This is a must-buy if you like to activate focus frequently.

Speedy Recovery - cost: 1 skill point - Sniper Elite 5: Best skills - list - Basics - Sniper Elite 5 Guide, Walkthrough

Speedy Recovery - cost: 1 skill point. You can purchase this skill as a backup in case of sudden and unexpected injuries. It can speed up the process of regenerating lost health. You can also check out the skills from the Health Boost group that extend the health bar.

Recommended skills - Equipment

Equipment is the second skill tree and it also contains some important abilities. Here is a list of recommended unlockable Equipment skills:

Extra Item Slot 1 - Cost: 1 skill point - Sniper Elite 5: Best skills - list - Basics - Sniper Elite 5 Guide, Walkthrough

Extra Item Slot 1 - Cost: 1 skill point. While preparing for the mission, your character can use an additional equipment slot, i.e. take more things with him. You can also purchase Extra Item Slot 2 later in the game.

Carry More Traps - cost: 1 skill point - Sniper Elite 5: Best skills - list - Basics - Sniper Elite 5 Guide, Walkthrough

Recommended skills - Combat

Combat is the first skill category, and is by far the least useful assuming you'll be sneaking a lot and avoiding direct confrontation altogether. Later in the game you can purchase:

Back in the Fight - cost: 1 skill point - Sniper Elite 5: Best skills - list - Basics - Sniper Elite 5 Guide, Walkthrough
