On this page of the guide to Red Dead Redemption 2, we have listed the minimum and recommended system requirements for the PC version. The following information will help you find out if your PC can run Red Dead Redemption 2.
Minimum system requirements provide smooth gameplay in 1080p, 30 fps on low system requirements. Recommended system requirements are for high settings and 60 fps. Remember, however, that these aren't requirements created for the highest graphics settings. There is a high probability that the game will stutter even if your PC meets the recommended system requirements.
PC - General information
- Operating systems: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 64-bit.
- Windows XP and earlier versions: Not supported.
- Internet connection during the game: Required (if we want to play Red Dead Online).
- Online activation: Yes, on various platforms (Epic Games Store, Rockstar Launcher, Steam).
- Controllers: Keyboard and mouse, full controller support.

- System: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3 GHz / AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz
- RAM: 8GB
- GPU: 2GB GeForce GTX 770 / 3GB Radeon R9 280 or better
- Drive space: 150 GB
- DirectX: DX 11
The minimum system requirements allow you to run the game in 1080p resolution, on low details and 30 frames per second. These requirements aren't high, even older PCs should be able to run Red Dead Redemption 2.

- Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5 GHz / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5 GHz
- RAM: 12GB
- GPU: 6GB GeForce GTX 1060 / 4GB Radeon RX 480 or better
- Drive space: 150 GB
- DirectX: DX 11
Recommended system requirements allow you to run the game in 1080p resolution, on high graphics settings and 60 frames per second. To run the game at high graphics settings, we need better hardware. However, some older PCs should be able to run the game on high settings.
