Goodbye, Dear Friend is one of the main missions available in Red Dead Redemption 2. Colm O'Driscoll is in prison. Sadie, Arthur, and Dutch go to Saint Denis to see the execution.

How to unlock: After "A Rage Unleashed".

Walkthrough: Meet with Sadie and Dutch in Saint Denis. Follow them to the place where the execution will take place. Then, follow Dutch and eavesdrop a conversation between bandits. Go up the stairs, go down the hallway, go past the woman in a red dress, and reach the next floor.

Go through the open door. Turn right, and walk on the rooftop.

Soon, you will reach the building with the bag. Approach it - Arthur gets attacked by a member of O'Driscoll gang. Defeat the enemy. Pick up the scoped rifle and watch the execution.

Cover Sadie and Dutch. Kill the enemy gang members. If you have problems with determining where to shoot, pay attention to the direction your friends are shooting. Shoot all enemies to complete this mission. Go back to the camp - Arthur will read a farewell letter from Mary.

How to get a gold medal in Goodbye, Dear Friend?

1. Find Colm's back up within 45 seconds - Listen to the conversation between bandits. Go up the stairs, reach another floor, walk on the rooftop, and find the hostile sniper.
2. Get 8 headshots with a long scoped rifle - Remember that you can always use the Dead Eye.
3. Complete within 6 minutes and 30 seconds - A typical challenge - you need to be fast and complete the mission within the time limit.
