Farming, for Beginners is one of the main missions in Red Dead Redemption 2. John is working on the ranch. The man helps Dickens in building a fence and in taking care of the cattle.

How to unlock: After "Simple Pleasures".

Walkthrough: Help in building the fence. Pick up the beam and, starting from the highest position, keep placing the beams to build a fence. After that, the game will start another sequence.

You now have to catch a bull. Get close to the animal and catch it with a lasso. Don't let the animal hit you - this will cost you the chance to get the gold medal. Keep your distance. Run somewhere safe when you notice that the bull is about to charge. Catch it with your lasso and take to the place marked on the mini-map.
