On this page of the Red Dead Redemption 2 guide, you will learn where to find Gila Monster. This is the lizard whose skin is needed to create the legendary panther range gloves.
Location of Gila Monster
The Gila Monster is an animal found north of Don Julio Lake, south of the city of Armadillo in New Austin . The location becomes available after completing all Chapters of the story, i.e. starting the Epilogue - The Wheel. Before you embark on this hunt, prepare suitable weapons. We recommend a sniper rifle or a bow with small game arrows.
Getting the perfect skin
To get a perfect skin, you need to track down the animal and kill it properly. Start by examining the target. It must be of perfect quality. To examine the animal's condition, you must use binoculars or a rifle scope. Checking it out from a distance will not scare it.
Before going hunting, make sure you have the right ammunition or arrows. You need types that don't spoil the animal's skin. To do that, choose Varmint ammunition for rifles or small game arrows for bows.
Getting the perfect skin is about taking a perfect single shot straight to the animal's head. Detailed information on acquiring perfect skins can be found on the page of the guide - Best animal skins, pelts - how to get?
Creation of the legendary panther gloves
Perfect Gila Monster skin is needed in order to create legendary panther range gloves. To craft them, you have to kill the legendary panther - one appears in the Scarlett Meadows region in Lemoyne Territory after you complete 9 Master Hunter challenges.
