One of the many collectibles available in Red Dead Redemption 2 are collector's cards. There are more than 140 of them in the game. Searching for the cards in various locations around the world may seem terribly long and monotonous, so we have prepared for you an easy and quick way to collect all the cards.
There are 12 sets of cards available in RDR2, each with 12 cards. To get 100% completion you only need to collect one set.
You will receive one random collector's card each time you buy/pick up "Premium Cigarettes". To make this task easier, never carry a full pack of cigarettes with you. If you carry 19 cigarettes with you, your hero will pick up any pack available in the area.
You can buy a pack Premium Cigarettes in any general merchandise shop. It is available in virtually every city appearing in RDR2.
To get a pack of cigarettes you need to open the catalogue, enter Provisions, then the Tobacco section and select Premium Cigarettes. Their basic price is $5.50.
As soon as you buy the cigarettes, a card will be added to your inventory. Remember that the card will be random.
The card will automatically appear in your inventory. If you want to check which card is it, open your bag, the card should be at the top right next to the Premium Cigarettes.
Remember that only a few packs of cigarettes can be stored in the bag. After buying two packs, open the bag and throw away any unnecessary packs.
You should spend about $1500 to get all the cards. However, once you have collected all the card sets, the man from the quest (Phineas T. Ramsbottom) should send you money that will generously compensate for your efforts. Remember that you must send him the cards you have earned by post.
