When you capture a tower, you will be able to use it and examine the area more closely.

Then, you can carefully examine an area and find important points. Your task is simple ? you must move the circle in a such way that it gradually become smaller until you find something important. Press the right button and you will discover a secret. After that it will be marked on your map. Thanks to that, reaching it will be much easier.

Below, you can find list of all types of secrets in the game:

  1. Ithildin ? in these missions, you must find a few runes in a given location. When you complete all runic words, you can take them to Ithildin Door where you can place words in right places in a text. As a reward, you get access to one piece of legendary equipment.
  2. Web of Fate ? your task is to find shattered fragments of Shelob's memories. When you find a memory, you must then connect fragments of it in a simple mini-game. Thanks to that you can learn more about this spider-woman past.
  3. Gondorian artifacts ? they are rather standard collectibles, you simply have to find them on a map and pick them up. You will then listen to a story connected with that item. By collecting them all you can get access to, e.g. additional abilities.

Haedir also serve as a fast-travel points to which you can teleport at any moment in the game (excluding fights).
