Shadow of War: Gems
Middle-earth: Shadow of War has three types of gems and five levels of upgrading them. On this page of our guide, you can find a list of all gems and information about their bonuses that you get after placing them in your gear's socket.
Additional hint - if you want to create a better gem, you simply have to combine three gems of the same type. This gives you one gem of a higher quality.
Red gem (strength):

Warrior Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 10%. Armor: increases damage of all attacks by 5%. Ring: increases your allies' damage by 10%. |
Carved Warrior Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 15%. Armor: increases damage of all attacks by 7.5%. Ring: increases your allies' damage by 15%. |
Polished Warrior Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 20%. Armor: increases damage of all attacks by 10%. Ring: increases your allies' damage by 20%. |
Refined Warrior Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 25%. Armor: increases damage of all attacks by 12.5%. Ring: increases your allies' damage by 25%. |
Perfect Warrior Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 30%. Armor: increases damage of all attacks by 15%. Ring: increases your allies' damage by 30%. |
Green gem (life):

Life Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 2%. Armor: Increases maximum health by 10%. Ring: allies receive 10% less damage. |
Carved Life Gem

Polished Life Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 6%. Armor: Increases maximum health by 20%. Ring: allies receive 20% less damage. |
Refined Life Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 8%. Armor: Increases maximum health by 25%. Ring: allies receive 25% less damage. |
Perfect Life Gem | Weapon: increases this weapon's damage by 10%. Armor: Increases maximum health by 30%. Ring: allies receive 30% less damage. |
White gem (wealth):

Wealth Gem | Weapon: increase your chance for getting silver coins from fallen enemies by 5%. Armor: increases your XP by 5%. Ring: Dominated captain receives 1 level automatically. |
Carved Wealth Gem | Weapon: increase your chance for getting silver coins from fallen enemies by 7.5%. Armor: increases your XP by 7.5%. Ring: Dominated captain receives 2 levels automatically. |
Polished Wealth Gem | Weapon: increase your chance for getting silver coins from fallen enemies by 10%. Armor: increases your XP by 10%. Ring: Dominated captain receives 3 levels automatically. |
Refined Wealth Gem | Weapon: increase your chance for getting silver coins from fallen enemies by 12.5%. Armor: increases your XP by 12.5%. Ring: Dominated captain receives 4 levels automatically. |
Perfect Wealth Gem | Weapon: increase your chance for getting silver coins from fallen enemies by 15%. Armor: increases your XP by 15%. Ring: Dominated captain receives 5 levels automatically. |
