1 � The only puzzle on this level. Normally, To complete it, you need the Cursed Compass (map: Castle Nex [1]).
The whole room is covered with invisible portals, which teleport you back to the start. You have to find a way through the chamber, without entering any portal. The Compass that you've obtained two floors below will help you do that. It shows you the locations of portals, so you cannot step onto the field which it is showing you. Moreover, every time you enter a portal, the location of all the portals changes.
On the map, you can see one of several ways to get through the room (yellow squares 1-15). If the road shown on the map happens to not fit the placement of portals, just use it again and again. After some trials, the portals will match the road on the map and you will reach the end.

Twisted Passage is the second floor of the Castle Nex. Here, again, you will have to solve a riddle in order to get to the next floor. Simply stand on the squares where there are no invisible portals, teleporting you to the very beginning. To see where they are not, equip the compass you have acquired earlier on in the game (first floor of the Castle (1)). After stepping on each square, the compass will show you were not to turn. You can also use a map, which will show you one of the ways to an end. It may not work every time, as every time you enter, the portals change and it may take a while before they eventually put themselves in order shown on map. There is a crystal of life and a bag with food at the end.
