FIA tournament race in Gran Turismo Sport Gran Turismo Sport Guide, Tips

FIA tournaments are a series of six races played on a weekly cycle. Every day except Wednesdays you can take part in only one competition, choosing one of five available dates between 18.00 and 22.00. In the first tournament you represent our country, in the next one you represent a brand, that you will choose and then you have to sign a virtual contract for a particular week that lends us the required vehicles. Starting from the 13th test season, all FIA races include accelerated tire wear and fuel consumption over a distance of 10 laps, and therefore require a proper pit-stop strategy. There is a different qualification system here - it lasts only 10 minutes and takes place with other drivers on the track. FIA tournaments also affect our driver and fair play rank.
For the places you've achieved, you score points that allow you to climb up in the rankings for the season. On the table counts only the best 4 races of the season (week), there is also a special race for the best players on Saturday. The number of points earned depends not only on the place, but also on our driver rank and even on the specific race. It's hard to put in a general table with a score, but it's worth knowing, that the differences are really significant - from dozens of points at the lowest E and D, over 1000 for one competition at the highest A and S. Unfortunately, all drivers are compared in one table and those with low rank have no chance to climb to the top, even if they still win - just the number of points scored is many times smaller.
