Last update: 29 November 2018
Pip-Boy is probably the most important item in Fallout 76 game. You acquire at the beginning of the game and thanks to it you can check your inventory or the stats of your character. The following chapter describes all of the options available to Pip-Boy.
Options available to Pip-Boy
First things first, using Pip-Boy does not pause the game - Fallout 76 is a fully online game, which means that you can get attacked while using the Pip-Boy and the hunger and thirst bars will be constantly decreasing.
In the Pip-Boy you have access to the following tabs:
- Stats - a full list of the character's stats. Here you can find the basic attributes describing your character (the amount of health, action points or the level of the character), as well as more complex values, such as effects, diseases and mutations that your character is currently under effect of.
- Equipment - the complete list of all of the items you own. They are divided into several categories, such as weapons, armors, medicines, junk. From this screen you can add items to the favorite tab, in order to have quicker access to them during the game.
- Data - here you can find all of the currently available quests, divided into main, side, daily and events.
- Radio - turn on some atmospheric music! From this tab you can select from the available radio stations and listen to quite a few songs during the game. Aside from that, here you can access the "Hunter/Hunted?" radio stations, which turns on the additional PvP game mode. The game will assign you a player that you must hunt.
The Pip-Boy gives you access to two additional elements - base building and character development. After activating the Pip-Boy, you will see a button used to set up the CAMP system (the main points of a base), as well as one allowing you to select SPECIAL attributes and perks once the character advances to a higher level.
