Can I play solo in Fallout 76? Fallout 76 Guide, Walkthrough
Last update: 07 November 2018
Online gameplay in Fallout 76, where several dozen players play simultaneously in the same world, arises the question - can I play alone? Did the game developers make sure that lone players can freely explore the map and get as much satisfaction as people who play together? This section answers these questions.
The short answer is - yes, in Fallout 76 you can easily play alone. There is no need to cooperate with other players and to explore the postapocalyptic world together with a team. Of course, you will lose bonuses such as free teleporting to group members or rewards for performing missions together, but these are not elements that have a significant impact on the game. You can read more about the teams in the "How to join a team?" section in our guide.
All activities on the map, in the form of completing tasks or killing monsters, you can easily perform on your own. What's more, you'll find in the game the Lone Wanderer perk, which provides bonuses if you're traveling alone - less damage taken and increased regeneration of Action Points.
