This page of the F1 Manager 2022 game guide answers the question whether it is possible to switch to a first-person view. We have also prepared a list of available camera modes and ways to watch races in the game.
Cockpit camera
In F1 Manager 2022 , you can choose between 5 cameras in 3D mode, with 4 cameras mounted directly on the car. Unfortunately, there is no cockpit view among them that shows the action from the driver perspective. The reason for this is that in F1 Manager 2022 you cannot personally control the cars, but only observe the drivers and give orders to your teammates.
The most practical camera in our opinion is the so-called t-cam - mounted above the driver . It offers a great overview of what is happening in front of the car.
The first alternative is a camera mounted on the left side of the car. In this case, unfortunately, a large part of the screen is obscured by the halo.
The second alternative camera is the one mounted on the front wing. It offers the best sense of speed, but with cars driving close in front of you, it can limit your visibility.
A rearview camera is very useful . Thanks to it, you can more easily issue defensive commands after a competitive car approaches your driver.
Useful information - You can also easily switch on cameras from other cars in order to, for example, view how they are doing. There are no restrictions here - just select the car you are interested in from the start list.
Other camera modes available
The only 3D camera that is not mounted on the car is the TV camera . These are views from various cameras placed around the track. It is not always practical and in a close fight for positions it is better to choose a different mode.
The last mode is the most unusual - it is the track model shown in isometric projection . The cars are symbolized by dots. This view is practical in training and qualifying, in which you do not have to fight with other drivers and you can just wait for your drivers to complete the programs prepared for them.
Important information - You can only use the 3D cameras with 1x and 2x time lapse. Choosing a setting of x4 and above forces you to use the isometric view.
