Choosing a team in F1 Manager 2022 is not a cosmetic choice. The game tries to reflect the situation at the beginning of the 2022 Formula 1 season - we are talking about how good cars, budget, infrastructure and drivers the individual teams have.

Difficulty level is reflected in the choice of the team. Choosing a strong F1 team will make beginnings easier, while choosing a team that had its better days may result in a frustrating fight for single points and attempts to close a very limited budget.
