Because a year without Call of Duty, Medal of Honor or Battlefield is no year at all.
  1. Why worth the wait: we were intrigued by the devs claiming we are about to see a game of unprecedented scope
  2. Release date: 2021 (pre-holiday period)
  3. Genre: shooter
  4. Platforms: PC, PS5, XSX/S

It has become a tradition that every 2-3 years we get the next installment of Battlefield and it seems like a reasonable pace. With the fifth installment EA once again proved, although the return to the fronts of World War II didn't satisfy all the fans, that they see how to make it possible for the players to enjoy spectacular multiplayer battles. The sixth installment is to be even bigger and better,

What does this mean in practice? We are pretty much sure that the devs' main goal is to deliver the first next-gen Battlefield, so the feeling of being on the front line will be intensified to the limit. Who knows - maybe the new consoles are an opportunity to significantly increase the size of battlefields and the number of soldiers fighting on them. In the backstage there is even talk of 128 players per map.

The word on the street is that after a few journeys into the distant or near past, EA Dice will bet on modern era, but we can't guarantee anything, because the devs make sure that no uncontrolled information leaks occur. Well, wherever and whenever we wouldn't fight - what matters the most for us is a decent shot of adrenaline, at least once for a couple of frags.

His adventure with journalism began with a personal blog, the name of which is no longer worth quoting. Then he interpreted Iranian dramas and the Joker, writing for cinematography journal, which, sadly, no longer exists. His writing credentials include a degree in film studies, but his thesis was strictly devoted to video games. He has been writing for Gamepressure since March 2020, first writing a lot about movies, then in the newsroom, and eventually, he became a specialist in everything. He currently edits and writes articles and features. A long-time enthusiast of the most bizarre indie games and arthouse cinema. He idolizes surrealism and postmodernism. He appreciates the power of absurdity. Which is probably why he also tried soccer refereeing for 2 years (with so-so results). He tends to over-philosophize, so watch out.
