In this chapter of our guide to Deep Rock Galactic we have prepared a detailed map of the Space Rig and a description of its most important places.

The Deep Rock Galactic corporation has a special space station from which miners embark on each mission. Also, it's a location where they can recover from defeat, modify equipment, change their appearance, sell raw materials, get a level up and relax in a bar that serves all kinds of beer.

Medbay

Medbay is a small-sized medical room located between the personal quarters of the miners. Dwarves, who have died during the mission or have drunk too much alcohol in the Abyss bar, end up in this place. The rebirth of the characters in the medical room does not result in any negative effects and the dwarves are immediately ready to take on the next challenge.

Personal Cabin

There are four personal cabins on the space rig, one for each member of the team. This is where the fun begins after logging into the game or joining a server that has not yet started a mission. Inside the cabin, the player can change character classes, check their progress in the game, collect Perk Points for completed Milestones and buy out appropriate perks.

Wardrobe

All cosmetic items that you have managed to buy at the accessories store or acquire during the Deep Rock Galactic gameplay will be stored in the wardrobe. When this terminal is enabled, the player can freely browse all items of a particular category and change the appearance of the selected character.

Mission Terminal

In the middle of the space rig there is a mission terminal. This is where you can see which regions of the planet Hoxxes IV are currently available and what kinds of missions you can perform in a particular biome. Moreover, at the bottom left side there is a counter which counts down time until another change of availability of individual Hoxxes IV areas. After the counter reaches a value of 0, the areas of the planet as well as the missions available on them, together with additional anomalies or warnings, are reshuffled and changed at random.

Accessory Shop

In the Accessory Shop you can purchase additional cosmetic items for your character, which will be stored in your wardrobe. All items available in the Accessory Shop can be purchased for a certain amount of credits and minerals. As the player's rank increases, more cosmetic items become available in the store.

Mineral Trading Station

In Mineral Trading Station, you can sell the surplus of raw materials and buy the ones you currently need. Unfortunately, the Deep Rock Galactic corporation has high prices in case of raw materials and pays just a little if you want to sell them back. The raw materials in the terminal are exchanged at a ratio of 1 to 3, which means that by selling a piece of raw material for 50 credits you can buy it back for 150 credits.

Jukebox

The Deep Rock Galactic Space Rig also has a small entertainment area. A Jukebox has been set up near the Abyss bar, which can be used by dwarves to dance into the beat of playing music. Some achievements are associated with the Jukebox, such as listening to a certain number of songs from the beginning to the end.

The Abyss Bar

The Abyss Bar is a place where dwarves can relax after a day of hard work with a large pint-type mug filled with golden liquor, that is, beer! Also, The Abyss Bar is a place where you can buy additional beer licenses (for credits) and plants collected during the gameplay.

Some of the beers served in the Abyss Bar have literally explosive or even lethal properties after which the player's character may wake up in the Medbay. Others may be useful during the mission, as they are able to provide characters with extremely useful bonuses.

The Abyss Bar - Best Beer

Before going on missions in Deep Rock Galactic, it's definitely worth checking the Abyss Bar and order a queue of beer or buy a license for the best beers available in the game. The table below shows the labels of the best beers available in Deep Rock Galactic, together with a description of what bonus a player can get after drinking a particular beverage.

Label	Effect
	Blackbreaker Stout is a beer that makes your character move 15% faster when carrying heavy items. Blackbreaker Stout is useful when you run through Point Extraction missions.
	Red Rock Blaster is a beer that increases character's health points by 30%. The Red Rock Blaster is useful in any mission, especially with higher threat levels. It is also a great addition when a player has to play a mission that has an additional Shield Disruption warning.
	Dark Morkite is a beer that makes your character extract more Morkite minerals. As the Morkite mineral can only be found in Mining Expeditions missions, the Dark Morkite beer is not useful in other situations.
	Skull Crasher Ale is a beer that increases the damage of pickaxe by 10%. It is useful in situations when are fighting smaller opponents, because you can finish them off with a pickaxe and save some ammunition.
	Slayer Stout is a beer that adds +50% power to each pickaxe strike and additionally makes the special strike of the pickaxe to charge at much faster rate. Slayer Stout can be used in any type of mission, as the player will break through terrain obstacles much faster and efficiently eliminate minor opponents.
	Pots O'Gold is a beer that allows you to extract two times more gold (2x gold). It is worth remembering that the amount of gold collected affects the overall amount of experience points and credits that player will receive after successfully completing the mission.
	Rocky Mountain is a beer that increases the damage of the pickaxe in terms of destroying rocks and walls - you can make less hits in order to break through cave walls. Rocky Mountain is useful in any kind of mission, because it significantly affects the time of its completion.
	Tunnel Rat is a beer that causes your character to receive less damage when falling from a large height. Tunnel Rat is used in any type of mission, especially in the Sanblasted Corridors area.

The Forge

The Forge is a special place which can be accessed after your character advances to a higher level of experience for the first time. This is where you can craft additional cosmetic items and Overclocks for weapons for credits and minerals. Each item made in the Forge increases the Mastery Level that allows you to obtain additional rewards.

Deep Dives

At this place player can take part in special end game challenges such as Deep Dives. Deep Dives is the toughest test for any miner working for the Deep Rock Galactic corporation, so only those characters who have received their first promotion (level up) have access to it. More information about Deep Dives can be found in a separate chapter of this guide, which is devoted entirely to this topic.

Drop Pod

Drop Pod is a special spaceship of the Deep Rock Galactic corporation which takes miners on every regular mission and on Deep Dives challenges. After completing the mission, the team can also summon Drop Pod to take them from the planet Hoxxes IV back to the Space Rig.

Assignment Terminal

Assignment Terminal is a place where you can sign up for special tasks which consist of several stages. At each stage, a specific mission must be completed. After completing the entire contract, you will receive a specific grand reward. Some Assignment tasks will provide you with additional rewards at the end of each stage, while others can let you obtain licenses for alternative weapons, additional mineral resources and credits, as well as Blank Matrix Cores which are necessary to collect rewards for performing Machine Events.

Drone Modification

In this terminal, you can modify a multi-purpose drone nicknamed Bosco. The Bosco modification stages have been divided into 5 Tiers and add additional properties to the drone. Equipment Terminal

In this terminal, you have access to all equipment of your miner. You can upgrade all available weapons, modify weapons, add Overclocks, increase shield and special equipment capabilities. Also, you can save several profiles that can be freely changed before the mission begins.

Pickaxe Customization

In this terminal, you can modify the appearance of a basic mining instrument which is a pickaxe. Deep Rock Galactic's pickaxe consists of 6 different parts that can be freely changed, giving the player an ability to create an extremely original item that he or she can later use during gameplay. Apart from the shape of a pickaxe you can also change its color.

Memorial Hall

Memorial Hall is a place to honor the memory of the fallen miners who dedicated themselves to serve the Deep Rock Galactic Corporation. Memorial Hall is also the place that has to be visited by your characters if you want to advance them to the higher level of experience.
