In this chapter of our guide to Deep Rock Galactic we have prepared a detailed map of the Space Rig and a description of its most important places.

The Deep Rock Galactic corporation has a special space station from which miners embark on each mission. Also, it's a location where they can recover from defeat, modify equipment, change their appearance, sell raw materials, get a level up and relax in a bar that serves all kinds of beer.

Medbay

Medbay is a small-sized medical room located between the personal quarters of the miners. Dwarves, who have died during the mission or have drunk too much alcohol in the Abyss bar, end up in this place. The rebirth of the characters in the medical room does not result in any negative effects and the dwarves are immediately ready to take on the next challenge.

Personal Cabin

There are four personal cabins on the space rig, one for each member of the team. This is where the fun begins after logging into the game or joining a server that has not yet started a mission. Inside the cabin, the player can change character classes, check their progress in the game, collect Perk Points for completed Milestones and buy out appropriate perks.

Wardrobe

All cosmetic items that you have managed to buy at the accessories store or acquire during the Deep Rock Galactic gameplay will be stored in the wardrobe. When this terminal is enabled, the player can freely browse all items of a particular category and change the appearance of the selected character.

Mission Terminal

In the middle of the space rig there is a mission terminal. This is where you can see which regions of the planet Hoxxes IV are currently available and what kinds of missions you can perform in a particular biome. Moreover, at the bottom left side there is a counter which counts down time until another change of availability of individual Hoxxes IV areas. After the counter reaches a value of 0, the areas of the planet as well as the missions available on them, together with additional anomalies or warnings, are reshuffled and changed at random.

Accessory Shop

In the Accessory Shop you can purchase additional cosmetic items for your character, which will be stored in your wardrobe. All items available in the Accessory Shop can be purchased for a certain amount of credits and minerals. As the player's rank increases, more cosmetic items become available in the store.

Mineral Trading Station

In Mineral Trading Station, you can sell the surplus of raw materials and buy the ones you currently need. Unfortunately, the Deep Rock Galactic corporation has high prices in case of raw materials and pays just a little if you want to sell them back. The raw materials in the terminal are exchanged at a ratio of 1 to 3, which means that by selling a piece of raw material for 50 credits you can buy it back for 150 credits.

Assignment Terminal is a place where you can sign up for special tasks which consist of several stages. At each stage, a specific mission must be completed. After completing the entire contract, you will receive a specific grand reward. Some Assignment tasks will provide you with additional rewards at the end of each stage, while others can let you obtain licenses for alternative weapons, additional mineral resources and credits, as well as Blank Matrix Cores which are necessary to collect rewards for performing Machine Events.

In this terminal, you can modify the appearance of a basic mining instrument which is a pickaxe. Deep Rock Galactic's pickaxe consists of 6 different parts that can be freely changed, giving the player an ability to create an extremely original item that he or she can later use during gameplay. Apart from the shape of a pickaxe you can also change its color.
