How to Get Jet Boots in Deep Rock Galactic (DRG)
Jet boots are a new tool in DRG. Deep Rock Galactic was never so fun! And irritating at the same time.
The new season of Deep Rock Galactic will be released tomorrow. Nevertheless, some players can test it thanks to the experimental version. The majority of the community will play it on 15th June, though. There are many novelties, like new enemies (for example Rockpox Corruptor). You can read about them here. Among various additions there is a new tool – Jet Boots. You can use them to move vertically. In this guide we will tell you how to get them.
How to find Jet Boots
Jet Boots are not automatically given to players. You have to find them during missions. Luckily, it is not so difficult. Open the map and search for the pink marker, which looks like a chest. It will contain the boots. Nevertheless, getting them is not so easy.
Jet Boots minigame
Do you remember the game Flappy Bird? Or many titles similar to it? Yes, to unlock the chest with Jet Boots you have to complete a minigame just like it. You have to go through a few obstacles and avoid touching them. If you do that, it is game over and you have to start everything again.
It is not an easy task, and the difficulty is even higher, if you play solo, as you can be attacked by enemies, which will disrupt your efforts. If you play with other players, it is a good idea to leave at least one person to guard the surrounding.
Jet Boots in the base
What is interesting you can test Jet Boots in the base. It is quite fun and a good way to accustom to the mechanic. It will also allow you to move around the space station faster.
