During the Xbox Games Showcase one of the first games shown turned out to be PayDay 3, the third installment in the popular series of cooperative shooters.
- The game will be released on September 21, this year.
- Since its release, it will be available on Xbox/PC Game Pass.
- The trailer lists PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles as platforms, but the game is also heading to PS5.
- Fragments of gameplay were presented, which focused primarily on dynamic action.
- The video shows off character movement mechanics. We can observe that the game offers quick slides or the ability to bounce off an object or wall (1:02 in the video).
- Also worth noting is the new visual layer, clearly improved compared to the previous part, but a bit more stylized - thanks to the Unreal Engine 5, which powers the game.
From earlier information, we know that the action of the new PayDay will take place in New York, and the game - like its predecessors - will be based on a co-op mode designed for up to four people.
It is worth noting that the title can already be pre-ordered on Steam and Epic Games Store. The standard edition costs $39.99. Silver and Gold editions (both of which offer, among other things, early acces three days before the actual release) are priced at $69.99 and $89.99, respectively.
