Commentary: Vikings are a faction that should be played aggressively. The key to success is to use their strong and mobile infantry that is great in close combat. Vikings can also recruit new units really fast which means that you can flood your enemies with units. Also, your warriors can be buffed by visiting places of worship - thanks to that you will be able to quickly break through enemy defense.
On the other hand, Vikings can be countered with archers and cavalry. Their bases are also easy to capture, especially during at a beginning of a game - their technologies are expensive which means that your enemy will probably focus on recruiting new units. Try to capture and keep places that generate a lot of food. If you survive the initial stages, the enemy will have serious problems in later parts of a game.
