Rebuilding Forces, Ulf Ironbeard - Viking Walkthrough Ancestors Legacy Guide and Walkthrough

This chapter contains walkthrough for Ulf Ironbeard's second campaign mission in Ancestors Legacy called "Rebuilding forces".

Difficulty level of this mission: 2/10

Ulf has escaped to forest. Select the weakened spearmen and go to the first yellow dot.

Enemies guard resources - the game will teach you here how to use tall grass in order to perform surprise attacks. Hide spearmen in the bushes. Wait for the lone guard to get closer and then kill him. Pick up three crates with food (meat icon, each crate grants you +50 vitality to your army).

Move to another point. You can see a large group of enemies - quickly hide in the grain field and wait for the enemies to pass you by. Go forward. You can see that the enemies have captured an allied squad.

Follow them to their camp. Hide in the grass on the left. Defeat the single enemy and go left - to another place where you can find food.

Defeat enemies and then collect meat. Follow the blood trails. You reach another hostile settlement with your allies kept as hostages.

Go east from the camp - to a village. Defeat enemies and set the carts with hay on fire. Thanks to that the building will quickly burn. Do this again with another house. This will alarm enemies.

Hide in the grass and wait. The enemies want to check out the situation in the village. Go to the empty enemy camp. Defeat the single opponent and free the prisoners.

You now have one full spearmen squad and one squad of archers. Go north - defeat a hostile scout, enter the village and then burn it. Enemies will move out to see what is happening. Meanwhile, you have to go east and free more squads.

Head east - defeat more enemies and remember to replenish your troops. Reach yet another village and burn it.

You get new squads. Also, a new hero joins your forces - Godric. Replenish your troops if you have to. After that you must go to another point on the map. Collect wood - your new objective is to build a trap. The game will teach you how to use this useful gameplay mechanic.

Place the trap on the road - this will weaken enemy forces. After that you have to set a defensive formation and defeat the rest of the enemies. Mission complete!
