The Last Impediment, Ulf Ironbeard - Viking Walkthrough Ancestors Legacy Guide and Walkthrough

This chapter contains walkthrough for Ulf Ironbeard's fourth campaign mission in Ancestors Legacy called "The Last Impediment".

Difficulty level of this mission: 3/10

This is the first mission where you can develop your own base. Build barracks - Ulf, Godric and a squad of spearmen will arrive. Place a few tents (they increase population limit) and recruit and additional squad of spearmen.

Rally your troops and attack the village B (north from your base). Capture it and send workers to gather resources. Create a few squads of berserkers.

Wait for the enemies to attack and charge at the village C (located west) - destroy marauders' base while you are moving to the destination. Be sure that your troops are gaining experience. Order them to fall back if they start losing too much health.

After capturing both villages, you can focus on developing your army - get 10 squads and upgrade at least a few of them.

Head to another village - you can place traps on the bridge in front of the village and then lure hostile archers out.

Your troops are powerful and well-trained - you shouldn't have problems with winning battles. Capture the village and replenish your fallen units.

Allied forces are incoming - your objective is to destroy catapults that keep shooting at your fleet. Gather forces and charge at the enemy.

You will have to participate in a few battles. However, you shouldn't have problems if you recruited new squads and you took care of them.

Defeat enemies, destroy their catapults and burn down their buildings. You finally reach the last settlement - your allies should be on the beach now. They will join you in battle. Defeat all enemies to complete the mission.
