- Build tents in your main base to recruit more warriors. Remember that army needs food - when this resource goes down to 0, your units become dissatisfied and they receive penalties to stats.
- Ancestors Legacy focuses on managing smaller armies. The maximum number of units that you can control is 10. Of course, each recruited unit also has a certain number of warriors.
- What is interesting is that the developers have made the game in a such way that commanding this much units is enough. You have a lot of options to choose from - you can flank enemies, use environment etc.
- Upgrade your units and spend iron to get better equipment if you want to use their full combat potential. You also have to remember to use the retreat option for wounded squads - a loss of a powerful unit is very noticeable.
- Some missions won't allow you to recruit new units which means that you have to complete them with predetermined units. These missions are mainly the ones that take place during a night where you have to sneak around and avoid direct confrontations.
