Missing Supplies, King Edward - Anglo-Saxons Walkthrough Ancestors Legacy Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 23 May 2018
This chapter contains walkthrough for Edward the Confessor's fourth campaign mission in Ancestors Legacy called "Missing Supplies".
Difficulty level of this mission: 8/10
Wilburg to get into bushes to avoid enemies. Keep avoiding them and head to the yellow dot on the map. Defeat a few lone enemies. Wait for your companion to arrive.
Set the carts with hay on fire to lure enemies out. Head to the empty tent. You will receive a squad of spearmen. Use them to capture the village A.
You can now start to slowly build your army. The problem here is that initially you can't send workers out to get additional resources. Every resource depot is guarded - you have to neutralize enemies first before you build, e.g. a sawmill.
Start with defeating enemies in the south. Build two upgrades that generate food. Recruit a few units and head north - to the place where you can place a sawmill. Be careful, you will come across a few enemy units.
After building a sawmill you should focus on upgrading and recruiting new units. Attack the spot with iron deposits - prepare yourself to face a strong resistance. You can use, e.g. traps to weaken enemy units.
Attack the village B when you are ready - this one is well-guarded so be careful. Defend your workshops - this can be really challenging. The enemy has archers and fully upgraded units.
Order workers to build watchtowers - do this shortly after capturing the village B. My personal suggestion is to build only one in the main base. This is a good spot to defend yourself - place stronger shieldbearers squads in the gate and use archers to defeat ranged hostile units.
Enemies will come in a few waves. Conserve your units, send new forces if you have to and order wounded ones to retreat. Soon, you will manage to defeat all waves.
