Calm Before the Storm Ancestors Legacy Guide and Walkthrough

Difficulty level of this mission: 3/10

1. You get attacked at the beginning of the mission. Defeat the attackers and head to Fulford. A hostile squad of Shieldbearers hides in the bushes so stay vigilant.
2. Inside the town, you learn about a planned enemy attack. You have a little bit of time to prepare yourself - send your units to collect supplies from the nearby villages. Watch out, the enemy will attack you during this process!
3. Focus on defense while you are gathering the resources - build Archery Towers and recruit a few squads of Shieldbearers. Try to upgrade them with better armor. After that you should place them in the gate so they can defend the entrance to your settlement.

1. Place archers behind Shieldbearers' backs - archers' task is to weaken enemies who will charge towards the Shieldbearers. Don't select archers and order them to shoot at the squads that are currently in a fight - you will hurt allied units.
2. The enemy assault starts after about 10 minutes. The game points out the places where enemies will move. However, you should stay in the settlement at all cost. Wait for them to come and defend yourself near the Archery Towers.

1. Wounded Shieldbearers should retreat. Replace them with squads with full health - heal wounded units and send them back into battle.
2. Sadly - the enemies won't stop attacking. Your hero decides that it is time to evacuate. Order him to retreat. This ends the mission.
