How to unlock the final Lab X mission?
In order to unlock the Raid Mission: Lab X you must complete the three previous raids:
All these missions, we have described in the previous pages of our guide. You can complete them in any order.
The new quest will be listed in the journal as soon as all three raids have been completed. Return to the Catacombs, which will automatically include an important cut-scene. After watching it, the sisters will move to the Riverside district, where there is a passageway to Siegturm and Laboratory X. You don't have to start this raid immediately if you feel you're not well prepared enough. If you want, you can return to the Catacombs again to replenish your supplies, take care of side missions and earn more skill points to develop your character.
If you have such a possibility, try to play this raid in cooperation with a real player (at a sufficiently high level of experience). A sister controlled by the AI, like in Raids of Brother 1-3 can cause serious problems during the battle with the final boss of the game.
Getting to Siegturm
You have to go through Riverside again, but expect to encounter much stronger enemies than those you met during other main missions. The first serious battle awaits you at the spot in the picture. This street is guarded by Zitadelle - a huge robot.
You cannot completely bypass it, although you can choose to go through the streets on the right. It will allow you to get closer to Zitadelle from the flank. This technique is particularly useful in the case of a two-player cooperation - the first player can persuade the gigantic enemy to get close to the barricade and the second player can get close to the barricade from other side or even from behind. Regardless of which tactics you choose, use your weapon to destroy the "horizontal" armor stripes and target the mini-boss weapons. Then, hide in the alley or building when the enemy starts to fire more severely.
Move on and reach a place where each sister has to pull a big lever. This will open the great gate. In one area, the city streets are patrolled by another sturdy robot - Zerstorer. In this case, you can already take advantage of the fact that the machine travels an established path and try to avoid it by crossing the streets on the right side.
If it comes up to a fight, first we suggest to take care of the Supersoldats, who will join the battle. Only after super-soldiers have died can you focus on attacking Zerstorer and hide in narrow streets after taking more damage. It is worth noting that there is a crate with a Shared Life nearby.
The destination is the Siegturm Plaza Gate. You can get there after you've dealt with Zerstorer and other enemies or successfully sneaked past them. Again, you will find one lever for each of the sisters. Siegturm is a brand new district of Paris, so you'll have a loading screen in front of your eyes.
After reaching Siegturm Plaza for the first time, look around the starting point. This will allow you to locate the descent to the subway - the example is shown in attached picture. Just as in the case of Brother 1-3 districts, we suggest you go down and interact with the subway map. This will unlock the Siegturm for fast travel in the future (mission completion, search for collectibles, and other stuff).
Find the entrance to Lab X
The area should be patrolled not only by ordinary Nazis and Supersoldats, but also by the new Panzerhund. We advise you to secure this area, as it will allow you to locate Laboratory X in a peacefull way.
You should look for clues concerning the whereabouts of a secret entrance to the laboratory. Conduct your research in building marked on your mini-map. Go to the first floor of the building and destroy the padlock on the door of one of the apartments.
After entering the apartment, be interested in the area shown in the picture. Approach the board and pick up the tape underneath (Resistance Log: Lab X). Listen to the tape and Abby's comment.
Go to the nearby square and ask about the advertising pole. Each of the sisters must interact with one of the two posters. Go to the Elevator and run it to move to the Laboratory X.
Finding B.J. Blazkowicz
In the first room of the base, start by killing a scientist. There are laser firewalls in the area. You cannot break through them and direct contact with them will result in injuries.
The solution to the problem of laser firewalls is jumping on ventilation shafts running at the ceiling. Use double jump. You will bypass the first set of firewalls.
To enter the control room you must use the Elektrokraftwerk gun on one of the fuse boxes above the door. If you don't have ammunition for these weapon, you'll find some on the counter before you pass the first group of laser firewalls.
In order to bypass the second pair of laser barriers, enter the control room and locate the hole between the pipes - the attached picture shows it. You can jump there and squeeze through to the next area.
In the new part of the lab, you'll start to meet your opponents. You can attack them by surprise (including Supersoldat patrolling the first hallway) or defeat them in direct battles.
It is also necessary to avoid laser walls in this area. Look again for holes in the ceiling (example in the picture) that can be reached by double jumping. The sisters must reach two levers. Pulling on them will open the gate. Go left and avoid the next laser walls until you reach the newly unlocked passageway.
This part of Laboratory X is patrolled by the mighty Zerstorer. You can try to avoid detection (it is worth noting that the commandant is on the floor) or try to defeat the machine. In the latter case, we recommend to reach the laser gun shown in the picture, which is located at a large ramp. You can use it to attack Zerstorer and ordinary enemies. Remember, however, that the cannon rotates sideways in a limited range. Go away from it when some enemy starts attacking you from the flank.
The sisters must eventually reach the large yellow gate (this is also possible in case of sneaking) and raise it up.
Investigate a new two-level area in laboratory X. As before, you can sneak around or start direct combat. There are no mini-bosses here, but you can bump into Panzerhunds, among other things.
The new yellow gate is in a room where laser firewalls protect access to it. Get any way you want to get to the floor (stairs, double jumping) and go to the room above your destination mark. Once you're in place shown in the picture, you can jump down. The sisters must raise the gate together.
The other area is a little larger as well as two-level. The lower level is patrolled by Zitadelle mech. Fighting him is optional. Even if your sisters are detected, you can use the fact that a large robot is unable to reach the floor or enter side rooms.
When you leave this area, there is a keyboard to enter the code. You have to start by finding the floppy disk- it's in the lab on the ground floor right next to the large corridor with Zitadelle. Wait for the enemy to move in a different direction or just run. You will find a diskette decoding terminal on the top floor. In our case, the combination (code) was... 1234. After opening the door, jump over the railing and raise the yellow gate.
Getting two commanders' keys
In the new hall there is a group of opponents, among them you will find a Zerstorer. If you are going to start fighting, move around the room and retreat to the floor if necessary.
The primary objective of the mission is to locate and kill 2 Ubercommandants. Each of them has a Commander Key. After receiving both keys, move to one of the side rooms. The sisters have to put the keys in the two slots at the same time.
Continued search for B. J. Blazkowicz
Unfortunately, there will be a lot of opponents in the main hall. These will be mainly Supersoldats (in different varieties), although there may also be another Zerstorer. Try to attack them one by one if possible.
You must wait until the passage shown in the picture is unlocked. Run there even if there are still some enemies still alive. Reach the door. After they open, sisters will meet B. J. Blazkowicz.
Getting to General Lothar
The most important information is that each of the sisters received a God Key. This new gadget allows you to stop enemy missiles (hold down the target button) and throw them at enemies - reflect bullets or missiles (release the target button).
When you get out of the elevator, kill ordinary soldiers in any way you like (you can test the God Key, but it is not a mandatory step). Come closer to the door. Hold down the aiming button until the blue energy sphere appears on the left hand (example in the picture). Release the button to generate a powerful wave of energy and pull the door out of the hinges.
The first duel with General Lothar (final boss)
This is the first of two fights with General Lothar. During this duel, you must rely on the God Key. The action plan is relatively simple. After selecting the key from the inventory, hold down the aiming button until a large number of bullets fired by Lothar are stopped.
Position yourself close to Lothar and release the aim button so that the "collected" missiles are reflected towards Lothar and cause him a lot of damage.
This struggle is not very diverse. His only unique feature is that Lothar can teleport himself. After the boss has disappeared, you can watch the mini-map and easily determine where he has reappeared.
You have to fight as long as Lothar escapes. You can't finally beat him now, because in a few minutes you'll take part in a second battle of the stage with the final boss.
Pursuit after General Lothar
Jump out of the big window and turn left. Watch out for yourself as you travel along the edges of the Tower, because it is easy to fall into the abyss here and lose one life unnecessarily. You can kill ordinary soldiers and Supersoldats you meet along the way by relying on ordinary weapons or by helping yourself with God's Key.
Ultimately, you have to reach the marked door, which must be broken down with the God Key (hold down the aiming button and after charging the "glove" send a wave of energy towards the door). You will find yourself in a large hall, where you have to fight with regular Nazi subordinates. Eliminate them in any way you want, and after winning a battle, reach the yellow gate which has to be raised up.
The sisters will reach a huge circular/round elevator. It will move up. Expect new enemies as you ride the elevator. Attack Supersoldats first. We recommend using strong weapons to deal with them as quickly as possible before the next enemies land on the elevator.
After the elevator reaches the roof, General Lothar will reappear. You will be promoted to begin the second part of the duel.
The second duel with General Lothar (final boss)
If you die in a duel with Lothar, you won't have to play the whole Lab X mission again. The game will allow you to resume the fight from the moment of arriving on the roof.
General Lothar uses a jet pack and your primary task will be to reduce the distance between you and him. There are several towers in the surrounding area, and one of them has a small elevator. It will turn on immediately upon entering it. This will allow you to reach the highest shelves, between which you can jump with double jumps.
In the area there are some stationary cannons. Use them to fire at Lothar. Aim specifically at the boss jetpack. It would be good if the first sister would distract the boss and allow the second sister to fire on Lothar when he is facing the back.
Lothar may return to the lower part of the roof from time to time. You can try to keep firing at him from above or jump off. There will be other opponents downstairs (regular soldiers and Supersoldats), so you can't focus entirely on attacking Lothar.
If you run out of supplies, take a walk through the entire lower level. In addition to ammunition, you can also find health and armor packages.
You will be promoted to the second phase of this duel after Lothar's jet pack has been destroyed, resulting in a hard landing for the boss. Take your time to get downstairs and use the top stationary cannons to fire on the boss' vanguards.
Lothar will reappear after you come to the designated place. Note that the boss has granted some "vertical" strips of armor, which means you have to use other types of weapons to weaken his shields. As Lothar can no longer fly, you can also try to use the God Key to "intercept" and reject the missiles he fires.
While fighting, don't forget to help your fallen sister, call for help if you lose all your health, use shouts and hide behind the towers if you need a moment to rest.
Defeating Lothar will automatically end the mission even if there are still some enemy soldiers in the vicinity. The game will display the final cutscene. After watching it you will find yourself back in Catacombs. You will still be able to travel around Paris and do other activities, for example, search for collectibles and complete side tasks.
