Cooperation mode vs single-player in Wolfenstein Youngblood Wolfenstein Youngblood Guide, Walkthrough
Last update: 02 August 2019
Wolfenstein Youngblood is an interesting part of the series in terms of game mechanics. In the game you will play the role of one of the two available sisters. Your companion can be another player (your friend or someone random) or a character controlled by artificial intelligence. On this page of our guide to Wolfenstein Youngblood we have prepared detailed information about cooperation mode, so you can find out if you have to complete the whole game with one companion, how Al is managing during the gameplay and how to use the Buddy Pass option.
Artificial intelligence (AI)
If you don't have any companion for a common adventure, you can safely bet on artificial intelligence. Al does well, always supports her sister and tries not to disturb her. If you require immediate help, she can instantly teleport to you, so that you can avoid losing health points.
Artificial Intelligence can eliminate enemies on its own, and will gladly kill those which you have already damaged heavily.
The big advantage of a computer friend is that he will never make you angry. If he has the possibility, he will hide and never start fighting on his own. So you can freely explore the terrain and fight, counting the help of artificial intelligence.
Playing with a companion
Every time you want to enter Wolfenstein Youngblood, the game asks you whether you want to play alone, with a friend or with someone random. This means that you can change your decision at any time. You don't have to play through the whole game with a friend or with a random guy from the network. After the session is over, you can change the type of game and continue on your own.
Buddy Pass
Buddy Pass is a bonus included in the Deluxe Edition.
Buddy Pass allows you to invite another person to join in the fun and play Wolfenstein Youngblood for free. This way you can play the game with a friend who doesn't lose a single $.
For more information about the pass, please see the separate Buddy Pass page of our guide.
