What firearms will I find in the game?
In Wolfenstein Youngblood, you can fight with a pistol, maschinenpistole, Blitzgewehr, Sturmgewehr, Kugelgewehr, Dieselkraftwerk, Elektrokraftwerk, and Laserkraftwerk. The last three weapons can be gained by completing missions or buying special skills.
On a separate page of our guide to Wolfenstein: Youngblood we explained how to get heavy weapons. With them, you can kill enemies more efficiently and open closed doors or crates.
Can I upgrade my weapons?
Any firearm available in Wolfenstein Youngblood can be improved. You only need the right amount of cash.
You can change the damage rate of your weapon, its range and rate of fire. More detailed information on how to improve your weapon can be found on the separate page of our guide.
Types of opponents and their armor
In the game you will encounter many different opponents. On your way there will be ordinary Nazis, robots, dogs, different types of super soldiers and several bosses. Each of them requires "special treatment", for example, special weapons.
On separate pages of our guide to Wolfenstein: Youngblood you will find a detailed description concerning the battles with Supersoldats and bosses.
Most opponents have armor in the later stages of the game. To get rid of it you can simply shoot straight at the opponent (but this is very slow) or shoot centrally in the armor so that it will fall off quickly. If you want to throw off armor from enemies, you have to shoot straight at them - usually in the back of the enemy.
How to eliminate enemies in the most effective way?
The best way to eliminate enemies in Wolfenstein Youngblood is to attack them quietly or with throwing weapons. These attacks take the most health points from enemies and are often able to finish them off with a single blow.
Health and armor
Your character's health and armor do not regen on their own. You can collect HP and armor regenerative supplies by exploring the map or going to catacombs.
You can increase your HP by developing the Mind skill tree:
- Health + - increases your health reserve by 25 points;
- Health ++ - increases your health reserve by 50 points;
- Health + + + - increases your health reserve by 75 points;
- Health + + + + - increases your health reserve by 100 points (max 200 points).
You can increase the amount of your armor by developing the Muscle skill tree:
- Armor + - increases your armor by 25 points;
- ++ Armor - increases your armor by 50 points;
- Armor + + + + - increases your armor by 75 points;
- Armor + + + + + - increases your armor by 100 points (max 200 points).
Enemy weaknesses
Most of the enemies available in the game have their sensitive points. These are usually spots that aren't covered by armor. You can, for example, throw helmets off their heads and aim straight at their faces.
Remember that most armor pieces can be thrown off with the right weapon. Detailed information about this game mechanics can be found in our trophy guide.
