Are there any micropayments in the game in Wolfenstein Youngblood? Wolfenstein Youngblood Guide, Walkthrough
Last update: 29 July 2019
Yes. Wolfenstein Youngblood has microtransactions. On this page of our game guide we explain how they were organized and whether it is possible to play comfortably without spending real cash on micropayments.
Micropayments in Wolfenstein: Youngblood do not have any gameplay-aggressive specifics and do not offer any unique content. They allow you to get into possession of some items or skins faster, but all these things can be unlocked by spending silver coins, which is the main (standard) currency of the game.
After you have selected an item to buy (in the example above it's a new supportive armor skin) you can decide whether you want to pay for it with silver coins or Gold Bars. Bars are an alternative currency that is only gained by spending real money.
Gold bars are purchased in a special in-game Store. The store can be opened after selecting an item for purchase or you can simply switch it on from the main menu. Here is a list of all available packages that can be bought by gold bars:
- 500 gold bars - 4.99€ / 4.99$ (PC / XONE / PS4)
- 1100 gold bars - 9.99€ / 9.99$ (PC / XONE / PS4)
- 2500 gold bars - 19.99€ / 19.99$ (PC / XONE / PS4)
