How to increase the number of lives in Wolfenstein Youngblood? Wolfenstein Youngblood Guide, Walkthrough
Last update: 25 July 2019
On this page of our game guide to Wolfenstein: Youngblood we explain what happens in case of loss of all lives and how to increase the current number of lives you own. Both this information are extremely important in order to survive until the end of each mission.
- In Wolfenstein: Youngblood there is quite an unusual mechanism of "managing" lives of main characters of the game. Jessica and Sophie have a common "pool" of lives (Shared Lives).
- When you have exhausted your common supply of lives - game over. And you will be forced to start a new mission.
- Information about the number of lives is displayed at the right edge of the screen and is symbolized by small hearts.
- In the example above, sisters have 2 lives left. This means that in the example scenario presented here, a maximum of two deaths are allowed - one of the sisters can die max. 2 times or each of them can die just 1 time.
You can increase the death limit by finding and opening Shared Life Crate marked with heart symbol. Plundering each such box adds 1 life to Shared Lives.
If a sister falls down after receiving heavy damage, it doesn't mean she dies. She will bleed to death, but she can still be rescued by the other sister by reaching out to her and performing the "resurrection" interaction. Death will occur when you don't get to a dying sister in time, or when both sisters bleed to death because they can't help each other to recover
