Rescue Horton | New Orleans | Walkthrough Wolfenstein II Guide

The beginning of the seventh chapter leads the player to New Orleans, where the main objective is to make contact with Horton and his resistance group.

• Assist the Resistance

Enter the great wall

Climb the ladder to continue.

1. Once you regain control over your character, you will be given the objective to climb the wall. If you want to acquire all the collectibles in the area, there are multiple items to collect there - check the "Secrets" chapter for more info.
2. There are no enemies here - the only danger comes from the alligators that will attack you if you wander in the water for too long.
3. Once you clear the area of the items you're interested in, head towards the marker on the map, climb the ladder and open the hatch with your axe to continue.

Enter the ghetto

The first Commander you will be fighting here.

1. Once you jump down, two Commander indicators will appear on the screen. You should try to avoid contact with any unnecessary enemies here and focus on taking out the two mentioned enemies first. If the enemy activates the alarm, the floor will be flooded with enemies.
2. The first Commander can be found as soon as you enter the new building. Leave the room and enter the corridor on the left side. Stick to the wall on the left, go through a small control room and at the exit located on the other side you will stumble upon the mentioned enemy.
3. The second Commander is located on the second floor. You will also find the map of the location there - the item is hidden in a small room, in the eastern section of the floor, near the stairs you use to get to this floor.

Ghetto can be found behins those doors.

1. Clear all of the rooms as there are multiple items to collect here, including ammo, health packs and armors.
2. Once you're ready, head to the third floor, towards the marker on the map and open the reinforced doors to leave the bunker and enter the ghetto.

Reach the American Bank

You can see the entire battlefield from here - along with a Pancerhund patrolling the area.

1. Once you leave the bunker you will be standing on top of an elevation. From here you can see the entire battlefield - numerous enemies, along with a Pancerhund you've met in the previous mission, can be found below you. If you don't care about discretion, you can take out some of the enemies from up here - most of them won't return fire, but they will attack you once you reach the ground.
2. If you, however, want to first take a good position, jump into the water and get back on the dry land. Buildings located on the right side of the area are perfectly suited for this encounter, as the Pancerhund won't be able to reach you there and you will be able to safely shoot at the robot.
3. Once you've dealt with the mechanical foe, take out the rest of the enemies - there's no Commander here, so there won't be any enemy reinforcements.
4. Clear the area, collect all regular and collectible items and head north, inside the building marked on the map.

You must go through this bus to continue.

1. Once you enter the building, a new group of enemies will appear. You can easily take them out by standing at the entrance and waiting for the enemies to get inside. Eliminate them one by one.
2. Another group of enemies will be waiting outside, between various terrain obstacles. There's no armored enemy in this area, so this encounter shouldn't be a problem.
3. Once you've defeated all of the enemies, jump into the water, swim a little forwards and go through a partially submerged bus to reach the new area.

One of the many SuperSoldaten you will be facing here.

1. In this new area you will find several enemies, along with a SuperSoldaten. You can take them out silently, but it's easier to just equip the most powerful enemies and eliminate them with it.
2. Once you take out the SuperSoldaten, it's advised to collect Dieselgewehr he dropped. This grenade launcher will be extremely useful during the next encounters.
3. Clear the area of enemies, collect the items, refuel the newly acquired weapon in the nearby station and use the contraption you've acquired to get to the next part. Blast through the doors with Ram Shackles, climb the boxes with the Battle Walker or go through the small hole by using the Constrictor Harness.

Use the crane to reach the other side of the building.

1. Inside the building you will find numerous enemies and two Commanders. You can take them out silently or use the newly acquired weapon and blast everyone away. If you run out of fuel for the weapon, leave the building (or find a refueling station inside) and replenish it.
2. Once the combat is over, head to the control room where you will find a lever. Once you flip it, the crane will be reactivated.
3. Head to the mentioned crane - it can be found on the highest floor (follow the mission marker if you can't find it on your own). Interact with the control panel and pull the lever towards you (by moving forward). This will cause the crane to move to the other side of the building.

Only the forceful solution works here, as the enemies are aware of your position.

1. Jump down from the crane and get to the bottom floor to reach a new, arch-like room. There will be numerous enemies here - all of them are aware of your position so there's no point in trying to be stealthy here.
2. If you still have the Dieselgewehr, it will be extremely effective here. If you don't have it, the shotgun (Shockhammer) is a good choice as well.
3. If you have problems surviving this encounter, enter the new room, fire a number of bullets to get the enemy attention and get back to the previous room (with the stairs leading to the crane). You just have to wait for the enemies to enter the building one by one, eliminating them as they do so.

1. Once the encounter is over, take your time to explore the area, collect all of the items and charge your weapon in the terminal.
2. Further passage is blocked, which is why you must create your own. At the end of the room you will find stairs leading down. At the end of those stairs you will find a fuel tank - blow it up with any weapon.
3. Once you destroy the fuel tank, a new passage will unlock. Go through this route and jump down to reach the street.

Another encounter with a Pancerhund.

1. Once you reach the street, a new Pancerhund will jump out from the left side. You can try to gain some distance, as the enemy is moving slowly and has limited range, or just use the most powerful weapon (grenade launcher or Dieselgewehr) and simply attack the robot.
2. There will be several SuperSoldaten to take out here as well - use the terrain obstacles and containers to limit their mobility and take them out.
3. Once the encounter is over, break through the gate blocking the way and enter the residential area.
4. There's not much to do here, so just head towards the marker on the map. Break through the damaged wall, climb up the stairs and reach the street where the fighting takes place.

Assist the Resistance

Climb up the ladder once you've taken out all of the enemies.

1. The resistance group you're looking for is attacked by Nazis - you must assist them.
2. You must take out all of the enemies located on the street. Most of them won't pay any attention to you, as they will be absorbed with their fight, making the task trivial.
3. Once you take out all of them, explore the area and collect items. Once you're ready, climb up the ladder to activate a cut-scene and finish this level.
