Recover the New Orleans Dossier | Chapter 6 - New Suit | Walkthrough Wolfenstein II Guide
Last update: 16 November 2017
You travel to Manhattan again. Your goal is the nuclear bunker hidden deep in the ground. You must go through radiated terrains which means that the hero will lose health. This also limits your field of view.
- Enter the Nuclear Bunker
- Find the Command Center
- Find New Orleans Dossier
- Secure a Fallout Rebreather
- Exit the Nuclear Bunker
- Give Grace the New Orleans Dossier
Enter the Nuclear Bunker
Most of the enemies here can be killed with takedowns.
- Due to high radiation of this lands your character will keep losing health - move quickly and look for med kits that are scattered everywhere. You won't find any collectibles here so don't waste your time on searching for them.
- Jump on the lower floor and lean around the corner to see your first enemy - use a silenced weapon and kill him.
- Go down on the level on which your enemy was and pick around the doorframe - another enemy is in front of you. Kill him quietly.
- There are a few more enemies to kill - eliminate them, pick up items and jump down on the lower floor. You are now near a Commander.
The Commander and his two dogs.
- The Commander is with two dogs - kill him first so he won't raise the alarm and then kill the animals.
- There are a lot of enemies to kill here and the best way to do that is to equip the hero with two Schockhammers - the distance between you and the enemies is short which means that these weapons will work best.
One of the paths that lead to the bunker.
- Reach the lower floor and find the entrance to the bunker. The passage is locked. Use your contraption to get inside - Ram Shackles can break through the door, Battle Walker can climb the crates, Constrictor Harness can go through the small hole above the floor.
- When you get there, you must then go down the stairs, enter another room and wait until decontamination process ends. After that you must go through new door and enter the bunker.
Find the Command Center
It helps to have a map.
- Inside, you must go right and pick up the map that lies on the wagon - this reveals rooms on all floors that are part of this stage. Look behind the same wagon and collect gold.
- An information about the enemy Commander will appear on the screen - as always, you should kill him first before he raises the alarm. If you fail, you must prepare to face UberSoldats that will be activated.
- Defeat all enemies and reach the lower floor - if you raised the alarm then this area should be clear because all enemies already charged at you.
Dieselgewehr works great here.
- Approach the vertical plates that open and close. Wait until they open and go to the other side. Do the same with another wall like that.
- Collect items that are on this floor, especially those located near armory-chests and go down towards the marker.
- Here, you must face another Commander - kill him with a takedown. This will allow you to avoid fighting with a rather large group of soldiers including a few UberSoldats.
- Dieselgewehr, a flamethrower that shoots flame grenades (used by many SuperSoldats), is located near the terminal that allows you to refill Diesel's weapon. Use it to eliminate enemies - usually, one "bullet" is enough to kill almost everyone.
- Kill the enemies, collect the items and refill your weapon near the terminal. After that you must go down on the lower floor.
A single SuperSoldat isn't a threat.
- There are no Commanders here which means that you can just shoot everyone - the heavy weapon, that you have picked up a few minutes ago, is perfect for that.
- Reach the lower floor with two control rooms. Both of them have levers that you must use to unlock the passage forward - go and activate them.
- When you move both levers, you will be immediately attacked by one SuperSoldat. However, at this point of the game, he shouldn't be a threat to you. Kill him and go down. Keep walking until you reach new vertical plates that open and close.
Lasergewehr is the best against a Pancerhund.
- Go through the wall and prepare yourself. Soon, you will have to face a Pancerhund, a robot that resembles Zitadelle (you met it a few times).
- This fight is very challenging and it requires you to have a heavy weapon - Lasergewehr or Dieselgewehr. If you really want to defeat this enemy then go to the room on the left, go through another door with moving plates and pick up the heavy laser from one of the wooden crates under the stairs.
- The robot should be attacked from as far as possible. Pancerhund uses a powerful flamethrower but this weapon has a very short range and the robot itself is very slow.
- A few seconds of constant fire is enough to make the robot explode. Another Pancerhund enters the room. You must destroy this one too.
- Remember that you can completely ignore the robot - simply go behind its back.
One of the entrances to another section.
- Regardless of your choice you must reach the other side of the room and go through another door with moving plates.
- Here, you must use your contraption again - break through the door, climb the crates or squeeze through the hole close to the ground.
- Go through another obstacle and then jump into the elevator shaft. Press the button to activate it and reach a new place.
Find New Orleans Dossier
Enemies won't be able to hit you if you hide behind covers.
- Two Commanders will appear in the new room. However, don't try to kill them with takedowns because this is impossible to do - this is because enemies will start firing at you when you try to get closer to the new part of the floor. This also raises an alarm.
- Enter the room shaped like an arch and eliminate all incoming enemies. Then, you must go through this room and hide behind the columns and desks - this will protect you from the shots from the heavy laser.
- Reach the end of the room and use your contraption to reach the enemies - break through the door, climb the crates or squeeze through the hole near the floor.
This inconspicuous pistol, called Kampfpistole, is a grenade launcher.
- Here, you must face another group of enemies including two Commanders - try to kill them as fast as you can and stop new enemies from coming here.
- On one of the desks you can find a new weapon - Kampfpistole. This small and inconspicuous pistol is a powerful grenade launcher that can turn most enemies into a bloody pulp. However, you should save it for special situations because you can carry only a small amount of its ammo.
- Collect all items and reach the upper floor.
- Get closer to the mission marker and interact with the small chest on the desk. You get New Orleans dossier.
Secure a Fallout Rebreather
- After that you must prepare to face new enemies who will appear here immediately after picking up the dossier. The air in the room will become radioactive. Head to the place from which the enemies entered here and kill everyone who stand in your way.
- Go towards the mission marker and pick up the item - a Fallout Rebreather that allows you to move in radioactive lands without losing health.
Exit the Nuclear Bunker
Use Schockhammer to eliminate UberSoldats.
- You receive another objective. Approach the console and pull down the lever. This activates the elevator.
- As soon as you do that, the room will be stormed by UberSoldats. Wait behind the console for them to get closer to you and shoot the enemies with Schockhammer. Keep killing the enemies until the elevator reaches the top.
- Enter the helicopter and watch the cut-scene. After that the hero and Bombate, the helicopter's pilot, will be attacked by a few UberSoldats - kill them and go to Bombate. This triggers another cut-scene.
Give Grace the New Orleans Dossier
The last thing that you must do is to go to Grace's cabin.
- Go to Grace and give her the dossier. Watch another cut-scene and end both this level and the chapter 6.
- You now have access to Enigma, a machine that can help you detect Übercommanders. More details about this device can be found in "Enigma Codes" chapter.
