Character development and class challenges | Ghost Recon Breakpoint Guide Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint guide, tips
Last update: 14 October 2019
In Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, players can choose from several character classes. This choice is important because the character class has a significant impact on the gameplay. Each of character classes can be developed by completing the character classes' challenges. In this chapter you will learn what are the aforementioned challenges and how to complete them in order to develop your hero efficiently.
What are the challenges of character classes?
After unlocking and selecting any character class for the first time, it will have 1 level of experience by default. In order to advance to higher levels (up to level 10), you have to perform character class challenges. Character class challenges are simply a set of tasks you need to complete that will let you advance to the next level. For example, a Sharpshooter will have to destroy a certain number of targets with a sniper rifle or eliminate enemies from a certain distance, while an Assault will have to destroy enemies with explosives or assault rifles.
To preview the current challenges of the active character class, enter the inventory screen and then click on the icon of the selected character class visible in the upper left corner. This will show you a list of goals after which the class is able to advance to the next level, unlocking a new ability, skin or weapon and adding more objectives to complete. In addition, for each promotion to a higher level, your character will receive 1 Skill Point that can be allocated.
Tips
When you plan to complete certain challenges of character classes and you want to do it efficiently, remember about the following tips:
- Challenges of character classes can be pinned to the mission list. To do this, click on the icon of the currently selected character class on the equipment screen, and then indicate the location in the mission list where the challenges should be attached. In this way, you can easily monitor your progress related with challenges.
- Developing character classes is a great way to earn a lot of skill points. Each class can be promoted up to level 10, giving you 9 additional skill points per class. It's worth advancing up to level 5-6 of each class to earn 4-5 extra points - the initial goals are easy to complete and shouldn't take more than two hour run per class.
- It is worthwhile to focus on the development of one class and reach level 10. This will unlock additional passive abilities for the class and give you access to weapons that can be unlocked at level 10.
