Superior bear school gear - important information
Superior Bear School Gear - focuses on Adrenaline Points which can be used to strengthen the attacks or as a last resort in case of low health. Each element along with the swords gives adrenaline points bonus which gets higher with every upgrade. In order to obtain schematics for this set, it is best to equip oneself with a map: Ibrahim Savi's Third Map. You can buy it from an armorer in Kaer Trolde.
Important Note! You need to have the basic item if you want to upgrade it. Thus, if you want to upgrade the set, you will have to find the basic items first.

Superior Ursine Armor
Location: Not so far from Hanged Man's Tree in Velen, to the north-west
In order to collect the diagram for the Ursine Armor, go to Velen. Not too far from the Hanged Man's Tree to the north-west you shall find a cave inhabited by some monsters. There, you are going to encounter some nekkers. Go inside and keep to the left wall. Few steps ahead you will find a dead end with a chest with the diagrams.

Superior Ursine gauntlets

- Resistance to slashing damage: +4%
Superior Ursine boots

Superior Ursine steel sword
Location: Ruined Tower on Crookback Bog
Go to Crookback Bog and proceed to the Ruined Tower. It is located to the south from Downwarren, by the road. It is a lair for an elemental - use Quen and dodges to make the fight easier for yourself.
The chest with the diagram for the superior steel sword can be found in the south-eastern corner of the ruins. It may be hard to see it at first as it is hidden in between the plants. Use witcher senses to get to it.

Superior Ursine silver sword
Location: Hidden cave on the south of Crookback Bog - to the south-west from The Orphans of Crookback Bog
On the south of Crookback Bog a hidden cave is located - it is also a lair of a foglet from The Swamp Thing quest. The cave is easy to reach if you go to the north-west from The Orphans of Crookback Bog.
The cave's entrance is protected by an illusion and you will need to have The Eye of Nehaleni, to see through the spell. This artifact can be obtained from the quest - Wandering W the Dark; however, there is also another entrance if you approach the cave going west from here.
After making your way through the illusion, enter the cave and fight another foglet (level 4). Turn left and enter the hollow to get to the chest with diagram.
