Hearts of Stone - Achievements / Trophies The Witcher 3 Guide

Below you will find a list of all thirteen achievements from the Hearts of Stone DLC to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game.
Wild Rose Dethorned
 | Kill all the fallen knights of the Order of the Flaming Rose and loot their camp. |
How to get it:
This achievement is very easy to obtain. The atlas map that can be found in this guide will be helpful in obtaining it. You must eliminate 8 bandit camps which are protected by the fallen knights, ex-members of the Order of the Flaming Rose. After clearing the last camp by killing all knights found there the achievement will become unlocked.
I Wore Ofieri Before It Was Cool
 | Collect all parts of the ofieri armor, horse equipment and at least one sword. |
How to get it:
In order to obtain this achievement/trophy you must gather the complete ofieri armor set which consists of four parts that can be found during the From Ofier's Distant Shores quest. You will receive the quest from the Ofieri merchant (M1,6). You can also race with that merchant in the: Races: Swift as a Western Wind. However, be careful, as you will have only one chance. For winning you will receive horse saddle. Other parts: Ofieri sable diagram, horse blinders and horse saddlebags can be also bought at that merchant. However, the blinders and saddlebags are unavailable in version 1.10 of the game.
Remember that you must craft the sabre - having the diagram is not enough. Other, worse ofieri sabres are quite common and sufficient for unlocking the achievement/trophy.
Killed It
 | Win a round of gwent with a total strength of at least 187 points. |
How to get it:
It doesn't matter with whom you will win. Try to maximize the number of points of your deck, use as many spy cards and medics as possible and remove the weakest cards. Decoy and Clear Weather cards will be useful as well. It is important to win the first round with as little loses as possible - you can help yourself by reducing the Gwent difficulty level in game options menu.
Can Quit Anytime I Want
 | Be under influence of seven potions or decoctions at once. |
How to get it:
The achievement can be unlocked almost anytime. All you need to do is be under influence of seven - what's important: different - potions or decoctions. Alcohol or food doesn't count. Be careful, as the poison level will probably immediately start reducing your health.
The catch is that the minimum toxicity of potions is 15 and the default Geralt's maximum - 100. Because of that, you must select seven least toxic potions and activate them in the order from the longest working ones. While the elixirs will be active and the toxicity will reduce, you will be able to use the next ones.
Rad Steez, Bro!
 | Slide downhill for at least 10 consecutive seconds. |
How to get it:
You must climb a high mountain from which you will be able to slide. Not every mountain will be good as you must slide for ten seconds and some mountains have various angles and you can unintentionally stop at some points...
A perfect track can be found on the An Skellig island, near the Yngvar's Fang quick travel point. You must simply get to the top and slide to the bottom without stopping or rolling.
Moo-rderer
 | Kill 20 cows. |
How to get it:
It's not hard to kill 20 cows. It's harder to find them when you need it. Luckily, near the Martin Feuille's Farmstead in the northeastern Velen there's a pasture where you can find more than a dozen of cows during day. If it's not enough to obtain the achievement, simply meditate for few hours.
If you don't want to chase the cows that are escaping, you can help yourself with the crossbow. The creatures will fall after a single shot.
Pacta Sunt Servanda
 | Finish the "Hearts of Stone" expansion pack. |
How to get it:
In order to obtain this achievement you must complete the main story of the game, which ends after the Whatsoever a Man Soweth... quest. It doesn't matter which ending you receive. The trophy/achievement will be unlocked both in case of bad and good ending.
Let the Good Time Roll!
 | Participate in all wedding activities. |
How to get it:
The achievement can be unlocked during the Dead Man's Party quest. You must participate in all wedding activities, which are:
- Drink with the girls near the entrance,
- Go with Shani to the first floor of the stable and sit with her there,
- Talk with the girl sitting under the tree in the corner of the area,
- Fish Shani's boot from the pond,
- Chase the pig (use Axii sign),
- Play Gwent with halflings,
- Dance alone in the stable,
- Drink with dwarves in the stable,
- Find the fire eater - talk with the parents of the bride.
I'm Not Kissing That
 | Kill the prince cursed into a toad. |
How to get it:
You will obtain this achievement at the beginning of the game, at the end of the Evil's Soft First Touches quest. You will unlock the achievement after defeating the prince cursed into a toad in Oxenfurt's sewers.
Shopaholic
 | Buy all available items during the auction in Borsodi's house. |
How to get it:
During the Open Sesame! - part I quest you will get to an auction in which you can participate. In order to obtain this achievement/trophy you must win all three items that are for sell. In worst case you will need 710 crowns for that (it might be 670, from which 100 you can borrow from Vimme when he asks you about participation just before the auction). More detailed information can be found in the chapter about the quest.
Curator of Nightmares
 | Recreate all of Iris' nightmares in the Painted World. |
How to get it:
During the Scenes From a Marriage quest you will find various scenes from the lives of Olgierd and Iris that are stopped in time. You must fill each scene with the correct object or put them according to a specific pattern. In order to unlock this achievement you must find and fix all eight scenes. More detailed information can be found in the chapter about the quest.
When it's Many Against One...
 | Provoke all Iris von Everec's Nightmares into fighting you at the same time and defeat them. |
How to get it:
During the Scenes From a Marriage quest, at its end you will face Iris' Nightmare which will take the form of Olgierd. There will be 6 copies of the same person in the room. If you won't attack them, they will not move until the "Olgierd" that is currently fighting dies. In order to obtain this achievement you will have to provoke all six opponents to join the battle by attacking each of them. It is recommended to lower the difficulty level for this battle. If possible, try to attack them one after another. More information can be found in the chapter about this quest.
Return to Sender
 | Kill 3 opponents with their own arrows. |
How to get it:
This achievement / trophy is fairly easy to obtain, and you can do it in any location either in the original game area or the expansion Hearts of Stone area. In order to do it, you have to kill three crossbowmen with their own bolts.
To complete this task you need to have Arrow Deflection skill, preferably on the third level, as it not only allows you to deflect bolts with your sword, but it also directs them towards an opponent with increased damage. The achievement/trophy can be obtained in most bandit camps that are guarded by crossbowmen, which means that you can get it in almost all hideouts that were included in the expansion Hearts of Stone. To make this challenge easier, it is best if you choose the lowest difficulty level.
The perfect camp is the one in the eastern part of Velen, next to the ruins of Kilkerinn, as you can find 3 crossbowmen there. Get close to the bandit camp from the side of the stairs and wait patiently until one of them starts to shoot at you. Pay close attention to the bolt and press L2 (PS4), LT (Xbox Controller) or RMB (mouse on PC) in the proper moment. To deflect the bolt correctly it has to be right in front of Geralt. After you kill the first crossbowman, lure the bandits with melee weapons away and kill them as well. Once your surroundings are safe, make other crossbowmen attack you and deal with them the way the achievement/trophy requires it.
It's a good idea to use Quen during combat as it nullifies the damage you receive. Don't get too close to the crossbowmen or they will attack Geralt with melee weapons instead of their crossbows. It is also worth remembering that keeping more distance between you and your ranged opponents makes your task easier as the witcher will have more time to react once the bolt has been shoot at him.
