The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: Standard version
The standard version of The Witcher 3 only has the basic campaign - the plot revolving around the Wild Hunt. This version doesn't come with the story expansions (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine). However, you can get them by buying The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Expansion Pass.
Owners of the standard version has 16 free DLCs. The free DLCs for The Witcher 3 add, e.g. alternate costumes for the main heroines, new hairstyles for Geralt, new witcher contracts, New Game Plus mode, or unique armor sets.
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt: Game of the Year Edition
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition was released in 2016 - it is the most complete experience. This version most important feature are the two large story expansions - Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Each of these expansions offers several dozens of hours. They introduce new plots, characters known from The Witcher universe, new quests, lands and items.
Game of the Year edition also comes with the 16 free DLCs. You don't have to get them separately.
