Basic wolf school gear - important information

Wolven School Gear - focuses on a mixed type of play. Each element of the gear gives bonuses to Adrenaline, strength or sign intensity. In order to obtain schematics for this set, it is best to equip oneself with a map: : Well-preserved Notes by Hieronymus on the Witcher Elgar. You can buy it from Hattori in Novigrad. You can trade with him after you finish Swords and Dumplings - it's a side quest in Novigrad. The set doesn't come with a special crossbow.

Wolven Armor

Location: Kaer Morhen - signal tower to the east from Bastion

To the east from Bastion you shall find ruins of a signal tower. There, a little puzzle awaits you - solving it grants you the diagrams.

Get to the tower and climb a wooden ladder to the staging. There you shall find the notes that you are supposed to read.

Exit the tower and jump on the wall to the north where a wooden staging is placed. From there you will be able to reach the Polished Crystal.

Come back to the tower and examine the branch to the left from a rift. Put the crystal in it. Activate both crystals (the second one is on the opposite side) with Aard. Only then the portal will become stable. It is advised to save the game as your jump may not always be successful, which may result in your death. You will be teleported to a cave in which you will have to get rid of one wraith. Diagrams can be found by a skeleton on the ground.

Wolven gauntlets

3. Resistance to elemental damage: +5%
4. Resistance from taking damage from monsters: +2%
5. Resistance to piercing damage: +1%
6. Resistance to slashing damage: +2%

Wolven boots

Location: By the armor (see above)

Statistics:

1. Armor : 37
2. Attack power: +5%
3. Resistance to bludgeoning damage: +1%
4. Resistance from taking damage from monsters: +2%
5. Resistance to piercing damage: +1%
6. Resistance to slashing damage: +2%

Wolven trousers

Location: By the armor (see above)

Statistics:

1. Armor : 37
2. Attack power: +5%
3. Sign Intensity: +5%
4. Resistance to elemental damage: +17%
5. Resistance from taking damage from monsters: +7%
6. Resistance to slashing damage: +5%

Wolven steel sword

Location: Kaer Morhen - Bastion

Wolven steel sword lies in Bastion. Some wraiths are wandering around this place.

Schematic can be found to the right in an entrance in between the burned ruins. Loot the skeleton by the boards to pick it up.

Wolven silver sword

Location: Kaer Morhen - Ruined Watchtower

The last diagram of the basic wolven gear - silver sword - can be found in the old Ruined Watchtower to the north-east from Kaer Morhen.

There is a group of wolfs in this area as well as a wraith (level 23). Diagram lies by the skeleton in front of the entrance, on the stairs.
